We booked the house when we were stranded in Seydisfjordur by a hurricane. The host was easy to reach out by phone and was very helpful in allowing us to stay inside the house a bit longer after the check out time so that we could figure out our plan.

Everything but especially the breakfast which was the best we had out of the 10 properties we stayed in this trip. They have a little bar open in the evening and in summer months dinner is available too. Nice little snug tv room where you can relax and chat with other guests. Outside there are a couple of hot tubs but we didn’t try them

We were there for 1 night as a group of 6 people. Wonderful location! It's not in the middle of the town, so that was a big plus for us. Peace and quiet, cats, chickens and sheep around the house, and the best are horses right outside the window! Something fabulous! The house itself is very large, has several rooms, and is very useful. Large kitchen and 2 bathrooms. There was absolutely everything needed for the duration of the stay. We highly recommend staying there in a rural atmosphere, it's beautiful!

Picturesque Cottage with beautiful surrounding, sheep, birds and ducks by the lake. Comfortable bed, good shower, kitchen fully equipped and an outdoor BBQ. Few mins drive to supermarket.
We had a mechanic issue with our rental car, the host was very nice and let us stay extra few hours and came to rescue us, drop us off in town to wait for a replacement car.
