Terreforti Luxury Village is a beautiful modern hotel with the most welcoming and accommodating staff. They went out of their way to make us feel comfortable and at home. Breakfast each morning was always delicious and we had a fabulous dinner one of the nights of our stay. We are most thankful for the extra effort by Salvatore, Carmelo, Antonio and Giuseppe. We look forward to returning again!

Hotel Dell Viale has a good central location nor far to bus station and closer to train station. Using buses, the hotel was convenient to getting to and from Temple Valley. Staff at hotel were accommodating to needs.

The room, number 5, was nicely furnished, private and quiet. The private terrace has a spectacular 190-degree ocean view, the town dropping down the hill below, across the rolling local countryside and out to the harbors on the nearby coast. We could make out the Valley of the Temples in the distance. The breakfasts, served on a terrace and breakfast room on the opposite side of the floor, provided an abundance of antipasti, fresh fruit and pastries. The staff monitored the breakfast buffet and made breakfast drinks to order. The location was very convenient to the main shopping and dining street and the train station - google maps will direct you via a longer route with more stairs. Although it was not a problem for us, It should be noted that room #5 is on the top floor of the building, up five flights of steps.

We liked the size of the room and the view from the terace. There was a refresment waiting for us (coffe, juice, water,small cake). Room was clean, nice smell. But we spent there a night in January and the heating was not working. I wanted to reheat by warm shower, but there was not enought hot water to even wash my hair. I was frozen and catch a cold over the night. The bed was very noisy with each small move. The window was oposite to a building, very dark inside. All I will remember is dark and cold room. Shell I add how long we were looking for a place to park the car in those tiny streets?

We visited here because we wanted to see the Valley of Temples. We ended up adding a day to our visit to explore the city and relax at Villa Athena Resort, which is really near the archelogical site. Agrigento has many great restaurants and patisseries to help you increase your waistline. Many shops to buy nice clothes and jewelry on the main street Via Atena. We loved the old town with narrow streets and many intimate piazza’s. We found it a bit difficult accessing and using public transport so we walked everywhere. Everything of archeological interest was quite close, the churches were beautiful but a little more subdued than most. The food was delicious, our air bnb host was excellent. Excellent soundproof windows. Roof terrace overlooking the city, Valley of the Temples and the sea. Breakfast on the terrace is to die for. I can say the food and hospitality even outweighed the view. If you are driving, head just past the inn on the right to the private parking area. And just down the street is Boccerie, who make the best pizza in all Sicily (maybe Italy).
