Villoresi was one of the bigger surprises I’ve encountered during my frequent travels. I was looking for a place close to Malpensa airport with flexible check-in/check-out that wouldn’t break the bank, and Villoresi fit the bill. The property is located on a small-town street lined with low-rise houses typical for the area. The sign on the property led to a paved courtyard hidden from the street, with CCTV-surveilled parking spots for hotel guests. We had been given detailed instructions by the owner, so contactless check-in with keypad access to our room was a breeze. The whole structure clearly had undergone a recent full renovation, with plenty of clever details for maximum comfort, privacy, and ease. We especially appreciated the well-equipped kitchen at the disposal of all guests, although you wouldn’t be able to tell it was shared because it was so tidy and spotlessly clean (kudos for the 5-tier recycling tower!). There were menus with QR codes for food delivery, which we didn’t need because we brought our own, including a bottle of wine. I texted the owner asking for a bottle opener (obviously not a vital necessity, but the welcome message said to contact them with any questions…) and, I kid you not, someone appeared at the door with a bottle opener within 5 minutes of my sending the text.
Unfortunately we didn’t have time to explore the area with the bikes reserved for guests, along with recommendations for activities that sounded fun, but I’ll make sure to budget some time for this on our next visit. Can’t wait to stay there again!

We booked this hotel because we were flying out of Milan the following morning. It was quaint and bnb like. We went on search of dinner and walked maybe 10-15 minutes down the road to the MOST AMAZING place we saw our entire time in Italy. There is a square down the road that feels like it is on top of the world where we sat with a glass of wine and enjoyed views of countryside, ancient towns and a full backdrop of the Swiss alps! Absolutely magical. Then the next morning we took a 5 minute shuttle to the airport. Great way to spend our last night in Italy.

An amazing farm/agricultural home for a couple of nights instead of Milan if you want to stay at the nature. Lots of rabbits around. Farm is a producer of beef, so it will be very tasty in their nice restaurant.

The breakfast was sketchy. The hotel staff was amazing but they had a problem keeping fresh food available for the number of guests. You can’t serve bacon in a buffet at 4 pieces at a time.
