The staff were very friendly & helpful despite us both not speaking Italian! The apartment we had was spacious & very clean. Location great for driving to Chianti & train to Arezzo and Florence. Montevarchi itself had some great places to eat & nice friendly bars too, without being a busy tourist centre.

The location was fantastic, providing good hiking. Our hosts were delightful and provided us with information to help us get the most out of our stay. As this was the 2nd time staying at this hotel we knew what the standard was, I would recement the Hotel Michelangelo for a stopover as it is well sited to the motorway going North or South with friendly and helpful staff.
