Everything! The view is amazing. The place is exactly what I needed. Charming and it smells good all the time because of flowers and fruits all around. Everyone was lovely. The room was comfortable. I will book there again when I come back.

The purpose our visit to Fiesole was to celebrate our friend's birthday whom we had not seen for years. We had never heard of Fiesole, but they were staying there for a 3 week holiday (from Canada) and so we joined them with zero expectations. Fiesole was absolutely lovely, and frankly two days was not enough. We ate very well at local restaurants and visited the lovely Franciscan monastery on top of the hill, which is well worth a look. An incredible museum with Chinese coins dating back to the 100AC (!) and an Egyptian mummified kitten amongst other extremely old antiquities! Was not expecting that LOL!
View of Florence is spectacular from Fiesole, and to think you are in a small little quiet 'village' just 20 mins drive away.

Nestled in the hills just a stone's throw away from Florence, Fiesole is a quaint Italian town that may not boast an extensive list of attractions, but it captivates visitors with its serene ambiance and unparalleled vistas of the Tuscan capital. If you're in search of a peaceful escape from the hustle and bustle of Florence, Fiesole is the perfect destination.

We did not see much of Fiesole because our stay was short and we were focused on Florence but we would really like to have visited the Roman ruins of Fiesole. The part of town that we stayed in has a nice piazza with a restaurant, an ice-cream parlor and a really yummy food truck. It is really well connected to Florence (a cheap bus takes you to the city in 20 min. and it comes every 15 so it is really convenient). The restaurant has a gorgeous view of the whole valley with Florence in the middle. We also saw the post office and a grocery store around there. It is really a pleasant town with a lot to offer.

Quaint little town on the hill above Florence, easily accesable by bus from the centre of Florence. There are few restaurants and cafe's in the centre and also a historic centre with Roman ruins and a museum. We had 3 nights tehre, but could have easily stayd more, as the vibe of the small time is great and if you get bored you can easily go to Florence and back.

Fiesole is a beautiful vibrant village in the hills above Florence. Wonderful views back towards the city. Fascinating history to explore. The perfect place to stay out of the hustle of the city and only a 20 odd minute bus trip away. Lots of great bars and restaurants. A well stocked small supermarket. We love Fiesole.

Deliberately booked fiesole as didn't want the chaos of florence centre. However, there is a number 7 bus that goes back and forth 1.50 euro takes about 22 mins and very frequent.I believe would get a better class hotel in centre and yes same price or less .The walks are tiring around fiesole but views worth it. we were lucky sun was shining each day. some amazing sunsets about 7pm.Little cake shop towards bottom hill ALCEDO cheapest coffee to go and amazing cakes.Coop sells all need to make picnics as food is very costly
The Pensione was breathtaking as we came up by taxi. It was an idyllic setting and our first trip to Fiesole. We booked our stay based on the cooking class arranged between the Pensione and chef, Gabriele Corcos, where we had access to the Pensione’s kitchen along with the head chef who joined us through the cooking experience. it was an absolutely delightful day and culminated with sharing the meal and wines with both chefs. Our thanks to the staff for hosting the event as well as the overall relaxed experience at the Pensione.
Lovely apartment perfect for two people .Very well appointed with excellent towels and linen .Lovely cafe and bakery nearby and a cooperative across the road .Miserable cashiers ! Good choice of restaurants in the square and an easy bus ride number 7 into Florence .Machine at the stop 1-50 euro a trip .
Excellent welcome and advice
Good local walks to enjoy .
Free parking nearby and you are able to drop off cases close to the entrance.
Would definitely return .

Roberto didn't speak any English but he was so kind and welcoming! The flat was very cute and spacious, we especially loved the kitchen. Gorgeous view as well on the way to the bus stop every day, where the centre of Florence can be easily reached. We went multiple times to the restaurant nearby "Vinandro Vino e Desco Molle", highly recommended. The archaeological ruins in Fiesole are worth a short visit as well 🙂
We were thrilled with our stay at Villa Bonelli. The owner greeted us and made us feel at home. She gave us recommendations on what to see and where to eat in Fiesole, which made our stay very enjoyable. Fiesole is a lovely town with amazing views if Tuscany and of Florence. The hotel was in a perfect place. Breakfast was extra good - featuring freshly cooked delicious cakes. I recommend Villa Bonelli completely.
The location was superb! We only stayed one night, but enjoyed it very much. There is a shuttle to Fiesole provided by the property that allows one to catch a bus that brings you right into downtown Firenze for minimal money and time. Parking was easy and everyone was very nice. The cabin was well equipped, clean, in good shape and very comfortable.
This place was GORGEOUS. It felt like you’re miles away from the city but it was only 10 mins from the heart of Florence. We took a stroll through the grounds and bumped into beautiful buildings and castles. Loved to see all the animals. Rooms were very clean and nice. Breakfast and dinner and lunch served on site with a beautiful view.
Wonderful friendly host made this feel like being a guest in someone's home rather than a BnB. The location was beautiful, the town of Fiesole was charming with good restaurants and amazing views. Connections into Florence were super easy by bus from Fiesole, however I recommend having a car to drive from the BnB to the bus station.
We loved the hilltop mansion and grounds as well as its proximity to everything. AnaLisa and Ezio are gracious and caring. Their food is truly wonderful and they are very good at directing you to areas of interest.
They’re native to Florence and know everything! We took a day trip to Venice on the FrecciaRossa… it was great!!
Lovely hotel in a beautiful location in the hills overlooking Florence. Friendly staff who gave us great recommendation for dinner in the village. Was too cold for the swimming pool during our visit so that will have to wait until next time!
very close to the bus station! can easily get to Florence in about 20 minutes. we found a very nice grocery store nearby and we’re able to use the fridge and kitchen for all our items. The lady who owns the building is incredibly kind.
Lovely location, spacious and very well equipped apartment , nice pool with comfortable sun loungers nearby town of Fiesole very pretty with shops and quality restaurants and signora Daniela a very helpful and welcoming host!
The Staff were so friendly. The room was comfy and had a great view as did the hotel terrace and garden. It was an ideal location and a relaxing and stylish haven from the busy centre of Florence. The dining room was, Wow!
Friendly staff, Balcony overlooking Florence off our room. Very nice restaurant. Pool area a great bonus in the warm weather - even in mid Sept. Fabulous grounds around the Hotel and bus stops nearby too.
