The hotel was fantastic. Very comfy room, good breakfast and an unbelievable restaurant. Very easy to access the hikes from the hotel, even without a car. Bus stop was right across the street. The staff was very attentive, but knew when to give space.

Wow, what a complete surprise. My husband and I booked this room last minute so we could walk the trail to the church and be in the land of Heidi. We went to town to get some snacks (7 minute walk) and when we talked to the visitor center to find the start of the trail, they said it was up the hill to the right. We said, "Wait, that is right out our door from our hotel". What a perfect location, There was a balcony to look at the Dolomites for the evening and they had beer in the refrigerator in the lobby as an honor bar. The breakfast was amazing. Such great hosts and it was fun trying to communicate since the manager/owner does not speak English.

Funes is a lovely spot surrounded by hills. Seems like a bit aside from the "civilization" but just out of the crowded cities. Nice if you are looking for a base camp for hiking and exploring Dolomiti.

this is a gem within the gems that the Dolomites are.
this is a gem within the gems that the Dolomites are. this is the place to be if one wishes to have a very relaxing stay, enjoy the views, walking/hiking in the forest and along paths. The Val di Funes has a few restaurants but it has retained the charm of an alpine village. It is convenient and lovely. We visited 4 other valleys in the Dolomites and we definitely prefer this, especially during the gorgeous "indian summer" weather we experienced in late October 2021.MaryUnited States - 10Scored 10

This is an amazingly beautiful valley in the Dolomites. The people are so friendly courteous and helpful. The location we stayed at was close to all the local hiking trails and an easy drive to explore other valleys

We were here for the first time and will be happy to return.Accommodation is in perfect location, beautiful nature, skiing 10 min by car. Large spacious apartments. Friendly owner who arranged fresh bread, yogurt, milk. After skiing you will appreciate the possibility of sauna, which you can book only for yourself :-). Andreas and his mom were great hosts, helping us with prompt information even before the trip. Andreas was also very kind to drop us back to the bus stop in the end. The pass they provided really helped us travel free on all regional buses and trains. Room was very clean and had a modern well equipped spacious bathroom attached.
