Fantastic destination to make trips to all famous historic towns as Matera, Alberobello and many more. Putignano has great historic centre, many restaurants also with live music. Every Wednesday there is really big market near historic centre with fashion and many more. People here are generally very friendly. I can only recommend it.

Puitignano is not visited by thousands of tourists but keeps its atmosphere. We were lucky to enjoy the festival of San Giovanni , when local people organize a market and a medieval parade in the center. There is a nice square, beautiful churches and good pubs in the town. Not far from the really touristy places, if you want to join the crowds:-).KláraCzech Republic

The room was large, beautifully decorated and with top-class equipment. The garden, pool, and general environment was like paradise. On top of it, the place offers restaurant-like services for dinner, with a young chef proposing local yet innovative cuisine. Nice choice of local wines as well. Breakfast too was top-class. Our room was absolutely wonderful (high standard design), very clean.
