The cottage was one room and a bathroom. It was super efficient and clean. We had a sink, stove, refrigerator, but it was all hidden so the room was cozy and relaxed. I am going back here! They had dogs next door but we love dogs. The owners were available, quiet and kind. They helped us out finding a car and showing us where to find things.

It is a typical village of that region with a square, plenty of shops, restaurants, cafes, churches and well located for visiting Etna, surrounding countryside and villages. It has a local feel rather than a touristy feel.

A small local town which is a 30 mins drive to Catania or 40mins to the cable cars of Etna. Great location and food and grocery shops. All very reasonably priced. Easy to drive round and locals are not too crazy driving unlike other small cities.

This village is in a great location for travellers and tourists. If you have a rental car you are close to most of the good attractions in Sicily. You have Etna North/ South, Nebrodi, Outlet Village, Taormina and much more within 1 hour drive.JustinMalta - 10Scored 10
I really liked this small town atmosphere.
I really liked this small town atmosphere. People are very friendly. It's not the easiest getting around the middle of the town with a car because most of the streets are one-way (too narrow). We ate at multiple different restaurants (Italian cusine). They all had at least one waiter/waitress that speaks English. Most also had an English (or multilingual) menus, although it was a lot more fun to try to read the Italian one. We really enjoyed the town square. If you enjoy getting into that local life and like people-watching, that's the place to be. In the evenings 21:00+ it's the most lively place in town. Everyone's chatting, playing games, children playing. It's fun. There are no playgrounds if you are looking for those. The town square is surrounded by lively restaurants that all close between 00:00 and 01:00. If you want to eat out, i suggest doing it before 21:00 as that's when it suddenly gets busy.

The location was also perfect, you can reach the city centre, the nearest center of region and everything in an hour by car or also on foot. We had breakfast, amazing view to the sea from the flat. They helped us with organizing trip to Etna, visiting Catania and the beach there as well. Thank you for the unforgettable moments, we will return in winter and as soon as we can! You can use the pool during daylight, and it is never crowded since there are only two units which can be rented, so it is very comfy and relaxing atmosphere. Edoardo is the best host we’ve ever met. He gave us all the instructions and info for our whole trip on Sicily. You should definitely try their homemade menues for dinner or breakfast. Furthermore room was super clean, good A/C, good beds, huge pool and quiet neighborhood. Etna Sud from which the cable car runs is only 30 min drive.
