It's a good location. Vinci is a small village near the cities, so it is convenient if you came by car. Parking is provided. 3 places also for the disabled. Along the main street there is a signpost that leads to Empli.
Breakfast classic for Italy. Scarce but tasty. You have to pay 6 euros extra for an omelette. Rooms are cleaned every day. Even the towels are changed daily. Shower gel, shampoo and toilet paper are standard. Hotel quality, but still there. The restaurant is open, so it is very crowded in the evenin

Conveniently located to make exploring Vinci quite easy. Staff were so friendly and accommodating and made the overall experience very pleasant. The hotel has a quirky old charm which my family and I loved, and the breakfast was very good. If you have a dog, a great place to stay.

We enjoyed our stay at Antica Bottega di Vinci very much. The place is very beautiful, clean, quiet, traditional and has a beautiful view from the property over Tuscan hills (just what you want to see when going to Tuscany!). It's located a little outside of Vinci, so prepare for a curvy drive uphill.
The owners are amazing and warm people, that helped us a lot when our car battery was empty and went our of their way to help us. Every morning we enjoyed a lovely, cute breakfast prepared by the host, and received as many recommendations as we wished for. I can absolutely recommend this place.

Breakfast was delicious, pastries are made there.
The best part was the restaurant on site with delicious food at a reasonable price and great affordable wine. .
Staff was very friendly as well. Our 3 year old daughter enjoyed the pool and the swing set at the property.

Vinci is special. The Leonardo da Vinci museums are extremely interesting and also the villa where he was born. The town is charming with ancient villas, and fabulous vistas. The people are really nice, friendly and helpful. Also there are wonderful restaurants.

I love this town.
I love this town. Rural enough to be off the beaten path with easy access by car (or bus) to Florence and Pisa. We loved the area. Wine and food abound. Seriously. Go to La Becherria for a great meal (or anywhere, really) and be sure to get some wine tasting in at the little spot at the corner. Read about Peter Dent and Da Vinci's horse and enjoy the trails between the olive trees and vinyards.

I have always been a huge Leonardo fan and visiting Vinci has long been on my bucket list. But on previous trips to Italy I had not been able to work it out. This time I made it a priority and I was not disappointed. Anyone who is an admirer of Leonardo's genius needs to see this town, the museums dedicated to him, the home he was born in and the museum dedicated to his artwork. The town itself is quaint and the people who live there are friendly and helpful. There are a number of good restaurants, including the one at the Leonardo museum. I highly recommend this place.

I'm writing about Leonardo, so I wanted to soak up as much of his energy as possible for inspiration. I spent a long time at his birth house in Anchiano. You can call for a shuttle from the Tourist office to take you and pick you up. Franco drove me there and picked up at the exact time I requested. The museums are wonderful and diverse!

As birthplace of one of the most influential historical...
As birthplace of one of the most influential historical personalities Leonardo da Vinci it is worth to be seen. The small town (still) is a very quiet place. We think that the museum seems to be very superficial. It does not lead you into the times when Leonardo was born, nor does it show any of his - maybe first - writings or sketches.
However it was nice to stay at the square of the museum and having a morning coffee in the bar in the house.
A lovely place in the Toscanian countryside. The house and its surroundings are just gorgeous: beautiful vintage furniture, a pool with the view of the sunset, vineyards and olive trees—and those beautiful evenings/mornings on the terrace... Add to it the generous hostess and friendly animals and you’re at home. If you’re anywhere around, this is your number one place.
PS. It’s totally worth it to pay a little extra for the local wine and olive oil to complete the experience. An honest-hearted 10 out of 10.
What a cute find! If you are looking to spend a day or 2 in Vinci we would highly recommend! it’s in the historic area 2 steps from the main Leonardo da Vinci museum. it’s a traditional Italian village house. Such a lovely experience. Everything was perfect. Milk, yogurt, butter, breakfast breads and a yummy pie were all waiting for us on our arrival. If you would like to cook your own meals, there is a small market 5 minutes walk from the house. We really enjoyed our stay.
Gorgeous views on Lucca and Pisa.
Near is Vinci and natal house of Leonardo da Vinci (about 2km).
The guest house is on a calm place, it is located outside of urban areas.
Rooms are spacious, clean, and well equipped with furtniture and dishes. Washing machine and dryer are available.
Pleasant host left us some gifts (e.g. great Toscana wine).
Wi-Fi was working well.
Note: The house on my photo is not the guest house. The photo is taken from the guest's terrace.
The amazing view from the balcony.
The hosts were helpful in everything we needed.
The house was simple, yet comfortable and had more than everything we needed for our stay. The room is enormous with two big beds. The swimming pool and air conditioning were wonderful considering we were there during a heat wave.
The location is convenient for visiting Florence and Pisa and nearby Vinci was wonderful for evening strolls.
Amazing view into the Toscane landscape! The hotel also has a restaurant with exceptional food and view to the sunset. On the same place the breakfast is served.
The swimming pool is well located with chairs and umbrella.
Room is clean, comfortable, safe and with good Wi-Fi connection and air conditioner.
Great and helpful host with lots of food recommendations for the area. The room was comfortable and the fan was much appreciated given the Italian summer heat. The place is located right opposite to the ticket office at Vinci so it’s a great location.
Beautiful hotel and wine resort, on the hills near to Florence, with lovely views. Fabulous place to relax and unwind. Great rooms. Very welcoming staff. Delicious wine. Excellent breakfast. Fantastic pool.
Beautiful rustic farmhouse, a true taste of Tuscany. Angela and her staff were very friendly and helpful.
