However, it is also perfect for my stay. The room is incredibly spacious. The bed is comfortable, there's even a sofa and table. The shower is also big, with a Jacuzzi. It took me 10min to cycle from Fukuyama train station, normal travelers should consider local transportation. There's a huge Sports Depo and dining outlets within walking distance. Although the staff spoke no English there was nothing that Google Translate and a smile couldn't overcome. We were the only westerners in the hotel, seems like this one's a locals-only secret, but it shouldn't be.
