We enjoyed the traditional style of the house in a more quiet area in between rice fields. It was a nice break between our stays in the busy cities of Japan. The house was very clean and the staff was extremely helpful in any way needed. Overall we would highly recommend anyone to stay here :)

The room was incredibly large for its price - I paid approx. $120 for 2 days, and the room was much larger (25 m²) than the ones I'm used to staying in at Tokyo (ranging from 8 to 15 m² for the most part), and cheaper to boot! Would have been even cheaper if I'd opted for a single room as opposed to a twin room, but I just wanted to enjoy the extra space!
Staff was very fluent in English during my (admittedly brief) interactions with them - I had no issues whatsoever!
It might have just been the Sapporo weather, but I never really needed to fiddle with the AC settings during my two days in the hotel. It was cool enough that I was fine with the room as it was!
The hotel itself is very close to Sapporo Station, which makes getting around pretty easy! A lot of my destinations were close enough that I was able to walk around for most of my stay, which was nice.

Buffet breakfast was chaotic and crowded. Food was not replenished and presentation was unappealing. They ran out of soy sauce at the raw fish section.

The location was nice, the room was clean. Even though I booked a smoking room by mistake the smell wasn’t too strong.

Wonderful breakfast buffet. The location was very central to all the attractions and shopping. The concierge was very helpful calling places for last minute tours and also scheduling the taxi. Facilities and hotel room were very clean and bathroom was pretty spacious. A higher floor room with a view was wonderful.
