Kutchan is a lovely city with friendly locals and widespread English proficiency, making communication easy. There are plenty of options for renting or purchasing snowboard gear, which is convenient for enthusiasts. Overall, I will definitely return to Kutchan.

The ingredients and the cooking is first class. The staff is the most welcoming staff we ever met in Japan - and that is something. The open Bath is just great. The water is original onsen water. Relaxing in the rotemburo watching the clouds on Mount Yotei is paramount. The design of the room is a fantastic mixture of Japanese tradition and modern architecture. The room, the equipment, the furniture- all fantastic.

There are many nice restaurants around the area. The room is clean and tidy, and spacious enough even for family of three like us (Two adults and One child). The kitchenette had everything we needed -- plates, napkins, utensils, and mugs. Also, Chromecast was nice to have when we just wanted to relax and enjoy Netflix. The water got hot quickly and the water pressure was great for showers. The room and hotel was very quiet.

He dropped us off at the trail head at 0500 so we could start the walk early. The whole place was very clean, and the communal kitchen was spacious and well-stocked. It was a short walk to the train station and shops. If you're in Kutchan stay here. You won't regret it.

They also have free fans to use in case the room isn't cool enough for you. also a plus they have a restaurant inhouse for breakfast and dinner. Onsen is a super plus!

The room is equipped with a kitchen, which was very great because there aren’t many restaurants out there. We bought food from supermarket and this is the best way to enjoy food in this town. This is an unmanned hotel, instructions needs to be followed to ensure a smooth check-in. The staff can be contacted over the phone at the front desk and they use a translator.
