Great place, welcoming friendly staff, clean facilities and close to the beach. The owner is certainly here to have a good time. Richie is a great DJ you might be lucky and make his afrobeat Sundays around the pool!

Upon arrival, the check-in process was quick, and the staff were friendly and accommodating, which set a positive tone for the rest of my stay. Our room was spacious and clean, with a stunning beach view that was truly amazing. The amenities included a comfortable bed, sofa at the balcony, Wi-Fi, and free water bottles that were replenished daily. One highlight was the daily towel change, which kept everything fresh and comfortable. The sunbeds within the hotel compound were a great touch, keeping beach boys at bay and providing a more private and relaxing beach experience. The breakfast options were exceptional, offering a better experience than typical open buffet hotels. The variety and quality of the food were good we enjoyed the seafood dishes served during lunch and dinner. The mojitos were also a standout. Our waiters, Klara and another gentleman whose name I unfortunately forgot, were fantastic, providing excellent service throughout our meals. The staff were consistently helpful and courteous. Both my wife and I had massages at the hotel’s spa, and the experience was wonderfully relaxing and rejuvenating. The surrounding area felt safe and pleasant, making it easy to enjoy our time both at the hotel and exploring nearby attractions. We will definitely visit again.

The beach was a highlight of our stay, with its white sands and warm water. Enjoying the sun and ocean breeze was fantastic. However, beach vendors, or "beachboys," could be annoying for first-timers. It's worth noting that you don’t need to be kind to everyone; a firm but polite response is often enough to deter persistent vendors. Its very easy to get around within Diani, the problem is the choosing to where, they are many great restaurants and hotels in the area.

Love the quiet, peaceful Diani beach.
Love the quiet, peaceful Diani beach. It is my all-time favourite beach in the coastal strip followed by watamu and malindi. Picking the right hotel is very important as it is either a hit or a miss

The setting and layout of the hotel is beautiful.
The setting and layout of the hotel is beautiful. Lovely pools with a pool bar - very inviting. Easy access to the beach where one can have a lounger to face the sea. Beautiful greenery throughout the hotel. A bonus to have a Spa on the property.
Only thing I would recommend is that the ceiling fans and other are turned on when the heat and humidity is very high - it was really hot in the common areas - lounge and dining area.
Overall though we had a great, memorable experience and will definitely be back soon!

Diani Beach is great.
Diani Beach is great. For some reason the sea water was much saltier than in past years. Still a lot of fun to catch the waves in the evening. Our hotel swimming pool was great, friendly staff, our room, albeit a few minor hiccups, provided comfortable much needed rest, and the menu selections offered a good variety of options.

There are kitesurfing spots, this is what we all were most interested in and Diani Beach is very good for kitesurfing. There are lots of places to eat along the beach. It was less than 10-minutes-walk to the Diani Beach from the villa.
Everything here is amazing! This hotel has excellent service, everyone is extremely friendly and the service is next level, everyone was fantastic. The room was comfortable clean and well organized, i also loved the decorations. The beach is amazing with lots of great activities close by. The star of the show is the food though, probably the best we had on our trip in africa, with african, indian and other foreign cousine. They also make an amazing fish and chips. Run, don’t walk to this amazing resort hotel and stay immediately!
Baobab is located on a nice location of the diani beach with lovely gardens and lots of restaurants to choose from, with all-inclusive package you get to drink local beers tusker and balozi, they also have red and white wines included in the package but they are not the best quality wines but is drinkable, the food is good at the main restaurant but sometimes its bland especially in the evening, the breakfast its lovely at kole kole restaurant, the waiters at the main restaurant and kole kole are friendly
The breakfast was wonderful with reasonable variety, the restaurant meals were also good so no need to go eat elsewhere. my 10 year old enjoyed the pool so much. The beach was so clean and a nice area to swim and sunbeds provided by the hotel. Rooms were clean and the housekeepers always made our beds and cleaned our room every day, also provided clean towels when needed.
We enjoyed our stay and will definitely be going back to Flamboyant.
The hotel has aged gracefully and the owners have kept the same standards for over a decade. The staff are very receptive and warm . House keeping was thorough and the food and drinks were all very good . The variety of meals was also good considering it was low season . Beach beds were plenty.
Check in was smooth and check out was equally smooth .
Free transfers to and from Ukunda were a great addition.
we had one day trip to Diani beach and we booked Footprint .It really exceeded our expectations that we wished we could stay and enjoy longer time , Risha and Fad the Hosts were very kind , friendly and helpful .the staffs were very polite and kind .they showed us around and helped us a lot .Pool was also very clean .our room was very cozy and spacious .wish to stay there again in future .
The breakfast was delicious! I enjoyed the variety of options that was offered. The hotel was located on the beach and was close to restaurants and the Diani Beach Hospital which was a 3 min walk from the hotel. The hotel had everything that you need including a spa, pool, restaurant and diff types of entertainment every night.
We had a very relaxing stay! The hotel is not on the beach and we preferred it that way. We enjoyed the pool area the most, it was very quiet and not crowded at all. The breakfast was very tasty, delivered to your room daily. Our apartment was very spacious with two bathrooms and a nice balcony. There's also AC in the bedroom.
The place is amazing. Well located directly on Diani beach, you have instant access to white sand beach and azure ocean. The food is really great, on the same level as Nairobi's top restaurants. The staff tries to accommodate your every wish so you feel very pampered. I can't recommend this place enough.
The property was amazing, we didn’t want anything too touristy. This was perfect, clean and well thought out. We wish we could have stayed longer. The staff were so friendly and helpful. The property is further down from Diani beach on Galu beach. So not many guys on the beach trying to sell things.
the Staff was very friendly & very helpful
each of the meals were fantastic
the location right at diani beach was amazing, you could go directly from the hotel to the beach
The hotel is quite small, but that makes it so nice because there is no overcrowding
The hotel was well set out, large lobby and close to the beach. Restaurant staff were friendly. Situated at the far end of Diani Beach so reasonably quiet.I do like the idea of a quiet area with pool which you don’t often get
The BEST resort on the gorgeous Diani beach with the largest and best part of the beach, scenic compound, great rooms with variety of options, great food and wonderful service. Golf course for those who play
Staff were generally friendly and efficient, pool was generally fine (a little murky for my taste but not terrible), location is great but any hotel right on Diani beach offers the same gorgeous beach.
Little bit clear and closer to Diani Beach. Particularly, my wife liked the way the mosquito net was adjacent to the bed. The receptionist was amazing. An incredible lady! It has got a good swim pool.
Beautiful hotel with plenty of coconut palms, trees and plants surrounding each room.
Fabulous beach.
The staff are super helpful and friendly.
Food was nice.
Likes the pool and the room, the staff and calmness of the place. The breakfast was the only meals we had at the hotel so don't know much about the dinner .
