Quiet location, air conditioning and very quiet ceiling fans. So I had a good rest. The breakfast was very tasty, there was also fish, when I ate what I had, they gave me more. Friendly nice staff.

If you are visiting Udawalawe, I highly recommend staying at Kuma Safari Lodge. The rooms were clean and perfect Furnished with comfortable beds and food, delicious ... the curry cooked by Ravidu's mom, her safari breakfast was rated one of the best in my entire trip! Kuma went out of his way to ensure my stay was perfect with the baby elephant arriving at the orphanage the evening before our safari. The lodge is very well located, 5 minutes from the park, which meant we were the first jeep at sunrise. On safari, Ravidu shared his keen knowledge of animals and birds, and was respectful in locating and viewing them. It was wonderful to see the elephants in their natural habitat, a morning I will never forget! The family made me feel welcome and it was a real treat to share their jungle lodge. I will definitely come back 😊

The garden and tarrace is really beautuful. The staff was very friendly and organized us a safari to Udawalawe national park and called us a TukTuk every time we needed it. The hotel has a really relaxing atmosphere, we felt welcomed. Whish we could have stayed longer.

We booked this place on the day of staying as our original hotel fell through + we couldn’t be more grateful, as this place was absolutely amazing. The staff were so friendly and helpful, giving us cold towels and refreshments upon arrival. We then got shown personally to our room which was so beautiful + comfy. The pool was amazing too. They had a restaurant which we got given such delicious food. They even offered tours to Udawalawe National Park- only 20 mins away from the hotel. We arrived back from our safari just as breakfast was finishing but they still allowed us to eat even though we were late.

It was perfect! The family is really so nice and they organised everything for me (a pick-up at CMB, 2 safaris with great guides - seen everything including young leopards and bears in Yala, plus a driver for a full day to get me to my next hotel (with several sightseeing stopps)). Also I highly recommend the food! Breakfast (local) and dinner have been fantastic! For me 11 out of 10!
