My husband and I stayed at this property the evening before an early morning flight. The apartment is a short 24-minute easy walk along a very nice and safe path. In my opinion, this is the perfect location to stay for this reason.
The apartment itself was spotless and looked brand new. Even though it was very close to the airport we did not hear any airplane noise. We also did not hear any noise from the neighborhood or from within the building. It is in a very safe and quiet neighborhood. Our host, Norbert, was very kind and extremely responsive. We would definitely stay here again and highly recommend!

The hotel was very nice! It was clean, the staff was very friendly, the breakfast had a good variety, and we were greeted with a a complimentary glass of Prosecco. The rooms were comfortable and very clean.

The property itself is BEAUTIFUL!!! The people were fabulous !! All the amenities were there. Upscale Restaurant, Pasta Restaurant, Light-fare Cafe, Inviting Pub for Pub-fare and the best resort Buffet Breakfast you could ask for, set in a bright inviting breakfast room or out on the deck overlooking St George’s Bay. There was a Spa, Pools (indoor and out,) beautiful deck chairs surrounding their outdoor leisure areas and the pools …. And every morning we could see the sun come up over the bay. With a bus stop right outside the building. City buses and Hop on Hop off buses stopped there … which made the whole island accessible if you weren’t driving and if you were driving …they had secure underground parking

Luqa is a quaint, tranquil village very near the airport. There are regular bus services to Valetta, so it is easy to get around. I enjoyed the low volume of traffic and there were enough stores and street vendors to buy everything I needed.

Luqa is as close you will get of feeling like being on a movie set somewhere down in Mexico. Nice small friendly community, close to Airport , the Lidl has everything you need to survive the first couple of days on Malta or indefinetly. Very convenient for starters on Malta.
