Very tastefully decorated and clean. We loved the room and the housekeeping staff did a great job. I enjoyed the pool as it was long enough to do laps. Staff were friendly. Front desk staff were exceptional!!❤️

This place was perfect and the folks who work at Casa Ceiba are top notch. The views from the rooms and property are great and it is located in a very quiet area which is important to us. It is a small, initimate hotel and being adults only is a real added bonus. From the moment we walked in the front door to when we left they treated us like family. :) Vanessa and Paulina work the front and are so warm and friendly. Whatever you need, they will do their very best to accommodate you. The food in the restaurant is excellent and Mario is a master bartender ;) I hardly ever drink cocktails, but I couldn't pass his up! Our server, Ludo, was full of interesting info about the area and Mexican history. We also met the night man who was wonderful to chat with over our morning coffee! The AC in our room worked well which was welcome. We throughly enjoyed our stay at Casa Ceiba and would love to return next time we are in the Hualtulco area. Thanks guys.

The place was filthy. The staff had no self awareness of what needed to be done. The absolute minimum. They did not know how to even contact the manager. The listing is full of lies. On one of my four nights I had ants crawling over me which obviously woke me up. After the next night, I woke up and put on my eyeglasses and there were two ants crossing the lenses. Until I demanded that someone clean the guano/bird shit all over my balcony and railing, no one noticed this potential health hazard ? The guest had to clean it up.? On my final night, I requested the can of insecticide and sprayed the room myself. Finally, I had a final ant-free evening and morning before checkout. It would take so little to turn this hotel into a wonderful property. Bocana Bay is beautiful and the view from the rooftop terrace is wonder. Instead of serving coffee in the lobby in the morning, I have no clue why they do not do it up there. Until I contacted Booking.cpm and complained about the locked rooftop, no one was able to go up there. L. As the pool is shaded after mid-morning all day,, it makes no sense to not use the roof top with sunbeds, coffee and pastry in the morning , honor bar soft drinks and cocktails at sunset.

the resort had amazing pools. I loved the infinity pools overlooking the beach/ocean. rooms were a good size and very clean. great shower.
the food was good but I wouldn’t say great! certainly not awful and not a deal breaker by any means because the property location is amazing.

We visited Huatulco and the Secrets resort for our 15th wedding anniversary. We had a nice time. There is an adequate workout room, which we used several times. It is clean and well-tended. The staff was awesome throughout the resort. We ate at the Market Cafe (international buffet) on many occasions and would give a particular shout-out of appreciation to Chef Carlos May, Chef Juan de Dios, Cap. Nemorio Cruz, Hostess Alendra and Tonia, Giovanna and Yanileth, who made each experience exceptional.
