Sol Caribe, hotel in Punta Allen

This secluded beachfront resort is located in the Sian Ka’an Nature Reserve, on the Yucatán Peninsula. It offers freshly caught seafood and charming beach huts with a private porch and hammock.

The staff are fantastic, and each time I’ve come it’s like a private island. The restaurant is convenient and there are toys if you have children. Punta Allen is a 20min or so ride south if you’d like to check out the small fishing village.

Villas Roseliz, hotel in Punta Allen

Villas Roseliz is a small family hotel in front of the Caribbean Sea within the Sian Ka`an Biosphere Reserve. The hotel is located in the town of Punta Allen which is 35 mi south of Tulum.

David and Angelica, along with their staff, were wonderful hosts. David took us out on the Boat Tour (look it up!) and was kind and helpful in all ways. His English is good. We had room 1, a nice-sized room with 2 beds, and closest to the beach. Erica keeps the hotel as clean as can be in the humid sea air. You have access to the kitchen, but know that there is not more than a small tienda for groceries. Best of all is the glorious beach at Punta Allen. There is hardly ever anyone on it, it's quiet and peaceful, just sit back and enjoy!

Punta Allen seems to be a virgin place in Mexico.

Punta Allen seems to be a virgin place in Mexico. Not many tourists not many places like restaurants or shops. Its full of sargaso and at the moment properties cant deal with it and many of them are on the beach. But you can have nice excursions to see dolphins at the nature ,we took the fishers boat and went to see dolphins and turtles do some snorkel, kids loved it! But this place is far and the road is not good.

My trip was rescheduled due corona. They ignored all my messages and calls, and stole my money. No even booking.com answers me. I got stolen, and nobody answer, nobody does anything, nobody takes responsability.

The property's serene location, well-kept grounds, and peaceful isolation were absolutely wonderful. The cleanliness of the bed and sheets was impeccable, and we are immensely grateful for the hard work of the cleaners, especially given the circumstances. After falling ill with a stomach bug on the second night of our stay and experiencing multiple episodes of vomiting, their efforts were truly appreciated. We made sure to leave an extra tip as a token of our gratitude. Thank you to the cleaners - you are the true heroes of this hotel!

Punta Allen, Cielo y Selva, and their staff were perfection! We decided to stay in a Glamping Tent. There was much more room than expected and the beds were very comfortable. It was perfect being able to wake up and enjoy the sunset. The food was delicious. We had breakfast and dinner there. On a beautiful day we took out the Kayaks and were able to see Turtles. We spent almost every day napping a few hours in the hammocks. We loved the place so much we did end up extending our stay! We will be back one day.

Sonia and the other staff at Villa Roseliz are the best!! She was so kind and we came in on Christmas Eve to a dinner she prepared for all the guests free of charge. The manager was very helpful with finding us a tour of Sian Ka’an and directed us towards the place we could rent kayaks and go exploring on our own as well. We had such a wonderful time at this little town on the tip of this beautiful peninsula—would strongly recommend to anyone going to punta Allen.

we never got to the property, because what booking doesn’t tell you is that it’s impossible to get there by normal car. you need to either get a 4x4 for the drive (and even then it takes 3.5 hours to drive the bumpy pot-holed road that leaves from Tulum) or schedule a boat which isn’t cheap and takes 2 hours. the hotel is not responsive and even when texting them in Spanish they provided automated Google translate answers that made no sense.

Exceptional destination. The hotel, the location, the environment, the food. This trip was the most beautiful experiences of my life. I travelled there with my mom and daughter. I highly recommend that you get there by boat from Tulum. The boat ride is incredible. Really don't recommend that you go there solely by car. It's the experience of a lifetime but extremely long. The wifi is weak, which is the point. Fell in love with the staff <3

The hotel is right on the beach. The staff is incredibly nice and they make you feel like you are part of the family. I arrived at night and Sonia promptly prepared me a snack for dinner. She also prepared me a wonderful breakfast every morning with fruit, eggs, tortillas, and coffee for 120 pesos. Everyone was very kind and helpful. It was a heart-warming experience and I will stay here again if I ever go back to Punta Allen.

This is fairly remote and is reached on a 40 km extremely potholed road. So be prepared. The scenery is beautiful. The village of Punta Allen is rustic. Casa Pascale is mostly for sport fishermen but we weren't and enjoyed our time there. It's impeccably clean, the bed was comfortable. There was a good shower. There are beautiful wall paintings of various fish. It's a place with character.

Beautiful place to relax, we had a huge beach suite and our children had the one next door, so we had a very extensive veranda. V attentive staff, lovely fresh food and cocktails prepared. Access road bad in parts but not that bad! They were constantly working to improve sections of it. We loved our boat trip from the village, saw lots of wildlife and visiting Punta Allen village.

We finally got the chance to completely relax in a beautiful guesthouse with zero stress. The gorgeous views and the lovely people that manage the hotel make the experience exceed expectations. Definitely coming back!
