Only stayed 1 night before heading on our Namibia roadtrip.
We arrived very early and were given our room before established time, much appreciated.
Clean, spotless room with a great seaview as was literally on the rocks near the water.
Prawn platter at dinner was delicious.
Friendly helpful staff at reception.

Phyllicia is truly a gift to the world. Not only is she an extraordinarily kind human with an infectious personality, but she creates the warmest and most thoughtful stays for her guests. The apartments she and her equally amazing husband Reggie have here are modern and adorable and includes all the things we could need for a perfect stay. 11/10 experience. We’ll miss them and won’t ever forget them!

Lüderitz is a beautiful old harbour town with plenty to do and see. We ate at the Portugese Fisherman restaurant and Essenzeit during our time there, both of which offered diverse menus. With the small town you can easily park your car in a central location and walk to all iconic spots, excluding the famous ghost town, Kolmanskoppe.
Next time we would like to visit Barrel's, a pub that looks great from the outside at least and apparently offers great Eisbein.
The wedding we attended was held at the Nest Hotel. The overal feel was wonderful and the decor done beautifully.
My only concern was the lack of gluten free options at the restaurants, but that wasn't surprising for such a remote location.

We only were able to spend two nights here but we could have stayed longer. There’s some lovely old buildings to see and photograph in the shopping main area. We visited Kolmamskopp, an abandoned town and Agate beach where you can see flamingos on the lagoon. There’s a couple of good supermarkets for restocking if you’re in a camper.

Luderitz was a gem of history, the most beautiful old buildings in town, and amaizing sunset views over the bay. Kolmanskop, just outside of town, is a must to visit. There is really nothing of Luderitz , that we did not like.

Luderitz is a very historical town with German colonial buildings and architecture. The abandoned diamond town of Kolmanskop is 10 km away and is a most interesting place to explore on foot. The waterfront area is good to explore on foot. There is also good seafood to be enjoyed at restaurants like the Portuguese Fisherman. Kolmanskop is closed at 1 pm while other attractions like the Luderitz museum and Felsenkirk are only open in the afternoons.

Beutiful town with many hidden gems.
Beutiful town with many hidden gems. Kolmanskop is just out of town and is a must visit as well as the Dias cross and harbour.
I was pleasantly surprised. The town must be one of the friendliest places I have ever visited.

It is a clean, neat, overall safe place to visit.
It is a clean, neat, overall safe place to visit. We've checked into the hotel and basically covered most of the historic buildings, restaurants, shops and scenery by foot. Kolmanskop is a definite must to visit.
I can only say good words about this place, and definitely, her owner. The best value for money, so if you hesitate between this and another hostel in Luderitz, please, select this one, it is amazing and you wont regret it! The owner helped us on our arrival, she showed us a map with all the things to do around, and she called on our behalf, to book a trip for the following morning. The room was clean, comfortable bed and hot water. Wifi is available as well. You can park inside, so your car is safe. It is next to a petrol station.
The hosts and staff are wonderful and kind. We arrived earlier than we had messaged to the accommodation, and they welcomed us warmly. Due to COVID, the volume of tourists was a bit light which was lucky for us as we got a nicer room than planned. The whole property is very nice, the accommodations very clean, and the location amazing (great views of the ocean from the rooms and within walking distance to most of Luderitz). Breakfast was tasty and filling as well. It'd be hard to beat this place when staying in Luderitz!
I was very pleased with the location of the hotel, its proximity to the water, the restaurant and friendliness of the staff. We only had dinner there on the first night, but it was brillaint. Our room was right up by the water with great views across the bay. Parking was perfect with security watching over the vehicles. This was great considering we were travelling on a motorbike and security of the bike is always a concern. They made special provision for me to park right at the entrance to the hotel.
- The place is practically in the downtown (if Lüderitz has anything like a downtown)
- Amazing hosts, very friendly and welcoming
- The room and the bed were super comfortable
- The dining room was a very nice place to start the day (breakfast was amazing, too)
- Portable heater is already part of the room (evenings and nights near the Atlantic can be really cold)
- We loved the atmosphere of the entire house
Well located guest house in the heart of Luderitz. Not much to look at from the outside, but the courtyard inside is lush , tranquil and cool. Units are self catering, clean and modern and come with everything you need. Hosts were super friendly and always made sure we were well looked after. Although in the heart of the town and parking is outside, there is 24 hour security And we never ever felt uneasy
The two hotel managers were extremely helpful to us going above and beyond what they had to do. We arrived too late to purchase early morning tickets to Kolmanskop. This was critical as we only had one morning to do this or we missed it.
They contacted a local tourist agent after hours and we worked it out in record time. Much appreciated and such good representatives of the hotel.
Our hosts, Felicia and Reggie, were exceptionally friendly and helpful. The accommodation may have been small but it was very welcoming and comfortable. There was great attention to detail, including a little Christmas tree, to make it feel homely. All our self-catering needs were met. Felicia gave us great ideas on how to spend our time in Luderitz which was most helpful.
The apartment is very nice and modern equipped. The private parking is good and safe, there is also a guardian. The apartment faces the ocean, it is possible to see an amazing sunset. The centre of the Luderitz is only 5 minutes wak. There is the necessary tools to have breakfast and a fast lunch.
We liked everything about our accommodation. Friendliest hosts and the room was beautiful and clean. Would definitely recommend this place as it's good value for money and it's a walking distance from Luderitz waterfront.
Very nice guesthouse in the center of Luderitz. Clean, big apartments, place to sit outside with friends. Ideal for vacation, with family or few friends, one night or few. Definitely would choose this again.
This was a nice place for a couple of days in Luderitz. The owner was helpful and friendly, the rooms were clean and we had a lovely view over the little town.
A very nice family hotel with very nice hosts. The location is good, close to every interesting in the city. Nice patios with a place to have a breakfast.
The apartment was well equipped, clean, had free parking and was overall very nice. Felicia was very helpful in providing activities to do in Lüderitz.
