Villa Augustus, hotel in Dordrecht

Housed in a former water tower, a 15-minute walk from Dordrecht’s historic center, Villa Augustus features spacious grounds including decorative gardens and an organic kitchen garden.

The restaurant and breakfast but they aren't included in the price so that doesn't add much to the hotel itself.

Stayokay Hostel Dordrecht - Nationaal Park De Biesbosch, hotel in Dordrecht

The hostel Stayokay is a budget accommodations on the edge of the national park De Hollandse Biesbosch and near historical Dordrecht. It is located in a green environment.

We stayed in a Wikkelhause, which are private camping cabins made out of plywood (not sure what they mean by recycled cardboard). Nice enough camping cabin with kitchen and bathroom, but pricey. The bed was comfortable. Private, with good nature view. Parking lot. Better for a week-long camping trip than a stopover. Not a bad location for those cycling the Rhine, though.

As many said, breakfast is cheap. Factory cheese and bread. Pastorised juice.. I checked back the photos because I never would pick such a location. Found out that the breakfast on the photo’s is not the same at all. - bread from bakery - rich fruit selection - more than one cheese - fresh juice

    The manager was extremely condescending.

The manager was extremely condescending. He acted as if he was doing me a favor by staying in his hotel. The hotel has a gate with a bell yo ring but the bell is not easily found after dark so yes I waited 30 minutes outside ringing the bell and no one opened the gate until a car and the gate opened. The manager blamed my incompetence. The manager refused to give me his name when I checked out but I could identify him by photo. Horrible experience thinking I would stay ocked out of hotel at 10 pm

We used to live in Dordrecht so it always feels like our second home. It's a lovely old own with plenty of unique shops, relaxing cafes, museums and nice walks around the canals. It is on the main train line from Amsterdam, The Hague and Rotterdam so it's easy to do day trips to these places. You can also take the water ferry to Rotterdam and various other places from Dordrecht.

Surprised how unspoilt and picturesque Dordrecht was.

Surprised how unspoilt and picturesque Dordrecht was. It's not set up for tourism, though they are used to people from out of town with all the boats in the marina. Lots of cafes, and a few good places to eat. Close to Kinderdijk with the windmills. We stayed overnight on a stop over, but could of spent a couple of nights there, though probably not much longer than that.

Stayed in Dordrecht for the Dordt in stoom festival and it was wonderful and we will be back if we can ! The old town is pretty and the steam boats provided a great atmosphere in the old port. The only problem we had was that some places - like the tourist office and ticket booths - did not take either visa or mastercard - luckily we manged to get cash out but would have been in trouble over the weekend if this had not worked.

Excellent accommodation and base to explore the beautiful city of Dordrecht. The owners couldn’t have been more helpful and exceptionally friendly. The house is extremely well equipped and to a very high standard. Everything you need and the deck to sit out on was delightful. Bikes are available, although we walked into the centre and explored the canals and eat at some amazing restaurants, Post and Ferdinand Weather was hot, so to able to use the pool was a bonus. Highly recommend the accommodation

Dordrecht is a very nice town where people can easy spend two days: very nice streets, beautiful landscape, interesting shops and architecture... and the hotel (the boat) is very well located, close to a (easy to park) parking (3' walking) and the city centre. The hotel rooms are (as expected) rather small but the space is very well used and the shower is rather big. Everything is very clean. Staff make you feel at easy and breakfast was nice. Our teenagers loved it!

Nice confirmation about the booking via email and Whatsapp. Information about parking given. Parking in the free areas in Dordrecht is horrible, so I would advice to park in front of the hotel and pay a couple of euros per hour. Hotel room is big enough and clean. Coffee facilities and nice bathroom. Room warms up quickly after setting the heater on. Quiet, did not hear the other guests. Check-in is personel-free, so you will get a code to open a key box.

I recently had the pleasure of staying at B&B Bommelsteijn, and it was an unforgettable experience. From the moment I arrived, the owner”Sebastiaan “went above and beyond to ensure my comfort and satisfaction. The cozy accommodations, coupled with exceptional service, made my stay truly memorable. The hotel’s prime location made exploring the city a breeze, and I can’t wait to return to B&B Bommelsteijn on my next visit. Highly recommended!

This is a very chic and elegant small apartment, very conveniently located for the town centre and the station. I found the bed extremely comfortable. Not a lot in the way of kitchen equipment, but enough for simple cooking. I didn't meet the host but he was extremely responsive to messages and texts which I really appreciated. I found Dordrecht to be a wonderful town, with fabulous riverside areas and many individual and interesting shops.

Everything! Our stay at Villa Conti was the best experience we have had in our travels. We were hosted by Astrid and Charles and no detail was overlooked. We were greeted warmly by Astrid and it was a pleasure speaking with Charles. Breakfast was always delicious and delightful. Location was prime and we so enjoyed exploring the streets of Dordrecht. Our bed so comfortable and the apartment so cozy. This is the place to stay!

From the initial contact to the goodbyes, we were made to feel most welcome and comfortable. The spacious, airy room, access to the delightful garden and a kitchenette were ideal for our time in and around Dordrecht. Lots of thoughtful, personal touches and a fantastic breakfast (far more than we're used to) all contributed to a very happy stay in a lovely town. Many thanks to Letty and Cor, and I hope we meet again.

It was our second time at Villa Augustus - so we knew what to expect. Last time we stayed on the water (the hotel also has some rooms on a boat on the water), but this time we decided to stay in the water tower. Lovely rooms, superb views over the garden, comfortable beds, and cozy interior. The restaurant and staff are amazing. We had breakfast, lunch, and dinner here. All were yummy!!

This is a great location, just steps from the Groothoofds Gate The flat is well-appointed and. Dry quiet. It’s great to have a kitchen so that you don’t need to eat out for all meals. Kristen was super responsive when I forgot the code to get into the flat 😊. I hope this is available next time I’m in Dordrecht because I would like very much to stay there again.

The place looks good, the area is nice with lots of green and water, the staff is nice, and the price for the room is good. If you don't mind driving the location is also good, easy to go to Rotterdam and The Hague. The hostel has direct access to canals that can be used for water sports or to reach the city and other parts of the country by boat.
