Our room was very spacious, clean and decorated very nicely. The Breakfast was very good. We were given several choices how we would like our eggs prepared. The staff was very helpful and friendly. Pool area was great. Everything in the house is beautiful. The property is managed by the son of the owner. It used to be the primary family home. Now it feels like a cross between luxurious B&B and luxurious hotel. Secured parking was nice.

A vista do café da manhã e a acomodação são excelentes.
We loved the welcome and helpful staff. The room we had and views were excellent. we were able to extend our stay to go on a riverboat and steam train as well as visit Pocinho. The wine bar opposite the Museum was excellent and the Museum well worth a visit.

The Douro Valley is beautiful. Our stay was too short.
The Douro Valley is beautiful. Our stay was too short. The big thing I would encourage travelers to do is to make reservations and tour plans prior to visit. Wineries are often booked for bigger tours and not accepting drop ins.

We loved our stay. The family and staff are amazing! I can't emphasize how welcome we felt. The dinner was delicious and the port/wine parings lovely. They also arranged taxis for us on two occasions. Would love to come back.

Very friendly welcome but took a few minutes to gain access to the property. It was a 25 minute walk to the station but taxis readily available and affordable. Close to supermarkets.
Tio Manel restaurant in Regua was excellent - in terms of food quality, service and pricing.
Boat trips from Quayside to Pinhao and from there to a selection of Quintas. The Croft tour and tasting was very good - informative and good value for money.

It was the height of the tourist season (middle of August) and there was also a public holiday. The town was very busy and put quite a strain on restaurants and bars. Previous visits have been off season and the town copes a lot better, providing a more relaxed experience.
Absolutely amazing and wonderful place to stay, or visit. Luis was an intelligent guide through the vineyard, served us a fantastic meal, was knowledge about the wines we drank and was back again the next morning to cheerfully serve us breakfast on the patio. All the staff were friendly and helpful and the views were amazing. It is only 5 minutes out of the town Régua (6 euro taxi ride). I would highly recommend this winery. We stayed for 2 nights and wish it could have been longer.
We had an amazing stay. We highly recommend to do the wine tasting and dinner at the Quinta, this was absolutely wonderful. We got a four course delicious dinner on the terrace with view over the Douro river, with bottles of great quality wines and port and a great tour, all for only 45 euros, was definitely worth it. Also the delicious breakfast was served on the terrace. We also received a welcome drink.
We had a window overlooking the Douro river in our room.
Short distance from Regua. Clean, modern, large comfy bed.
Plenty of space and a great view to wake up to in the morning. Wonderful host that makes sure you have a great stay in Regua and the Douro valley!
Peaceful and close to the smaller train station of Godim. The way to Regua is relatively flat compared to the otherwise steep hills - so visits to restaurants etc. don’t necessarily require a taxi ride.
Stunning main house, thoughtfully appointed guest accommodation. There are particularly beautiful views around, mountains, vineyards, the sound of a waterfall. The breakfast is abundant, fresh bread every morning, upon arrival we found a freshly baked cake on the table. Peace and beauty. It is convenient to drive to the surrounding attractions. The most memorable place on our trip to Portugal.
A m a s z i n g!!!!
The most luxurious , well equipped, decorated apartmant!
Big comfortable bedrooms , beautiful living room, balcony, 2 bathrooms, perfect kitchen with all the facilities you can think of. Located up ragua, in a new building with great view to douro river.
Tia Maria spoiled us with delicious and generous breakfast. The place and the hospitslity are outstanding!
Margarida was lovely and took excellent care of us.
The view from the room is priceless.
A lovely pool: clean and cold water helped us through the heat.
The facilities and suite design is lovely.
The location: 5 minutes drive from Pesua da Regua.
Luis gave us a very nice wine tour through the Winery and we bought some nice wines/port to take home with us.
Our stay at Casa da Azenha was quite memorable thanks to the welcoming and helpful staff and the bucolic landscape. The historic manor house, vineyards, and gardens were beautiful and close to many things to do. This property stands out among all the places we have stayed in Portugal and captures the essence of the Douro Valley.
Excellent location for a break based in Peso da Régua. Just a few minutes walk from the railway station, bus station and taxis and opposite a variety of restaurants and wine bars. Great views from the balcony overlooking the river. The host (Pedro) was very welcoming and immediately resolved a couple of issues we raised.
It is a very old hotel. The whole property either gets warm air or cold air. Unfortunately, the hotel staff decided they were chilly and the entire hotel was set to heat. The hotel has AC but the entire hotel either gets AC or heat. If you are either hot or cold and not in the populous, prepare to be uncomfortable.
Lovely staff making you feel welcome. Remember, this is a working farm and not a hotel. But you’ll get a good dinner, bed and breakfast (send WhatsApp in advance to the phone number on their website to request dinner). Good wine, and if you want a wine tasting, Luis is happy to arrange.
The hotel is located in a very well renovated historical building, (a great work shown by video in the common room) just next to public transportation (Régua Train Station and Bus Stop). The staff was very friendly, kind and attentive The breakfast is absolutely fantastic.
Authentic and charming quinta near to Peso da Regua. Comfortable and spacious room with lovely views. Excellent breakfast. Convenient kitchen and lounge available to all guests. Friendly and efficient reception and great service throughout our stay by all staff on site.
Wonderfully spacious apartment, large bathroom, large bed, everything beautifully renovated. Great recommendations and support from the owner. Great location, especially for exploring the Douro valley.
Take the return train trip to Pocinho, stunning scenery along the way!
The hosts were extremely friendly and helpful. They also provided valuable information about the town, Douro valley area as well as Portugal in general. We even got a neat breakfast.
The house and rooms itself were clean and with a tasteful interior design.
Nice location, modern apartment, wonderful view of the Douro River from a huge terrace. Good tv, internet fast, being able to do a load of laundry was nice. Would stay again for sure. Great location for visiting other cities.
I am positive that we had the best view of any hotel in Régua. They made a tapas for us the first night, which was lovely and again out on this amazing patio with an extraordinary view.
Really beautiful old hotel. the rooms are fantastic, and was the breakfast. I highly recommend a stay here! Great location for exploring the Douro Valley. Very friendly staff.
Beautiful setting, close to town (Regua) and with magnificent views of the Douro. Delicious breakfast in the morning with lots of variety and all tasted amazingly fresh!
