It’s located in the beautiful Douro Valley and Tua in particular is fantastic for people with normally busy lives who just want to escape. The hotel were very accommodating regarding our children’s allergies, the apartment was spotless. The views were breathtaking.

The hosts are really very nice and were very helpful with our arrival and departure. We are very grateful to them for this. 💖
We were served a delicious breakfast with freshly squeezed local oranges juice and delicious bread while enjoying the view.
We could also imagine that it would be very nice to host an event like a wedding there.
Despite the warm temperatures, the rooms were very comfortable thanks to the great stone walls (we didn't need to use the air conditioning ;) ).
If you are thinking of booking this accommodation - just do! It can‘t be more authentic & We're sure you'll have a great time and will enjoy the beautiful views.

Incredibly rude staff! We have never been so insulted in our lives by hotel staff and Ana, Daniella and especially by owner Pedro.
The place itself was stunning, but the rooms and bathrooms were tired and in need of repair.
We also have no hot water and heating did not work, there was very little firewood and no fire-starters or kindling so we were very cold, it was raining and freezing!
Wont be back! We do not recommend
