I love the ambiance of this place--rustic and historic, yet luxurious. Beds were comfortable, free coffee was delicious. The art is eclectic and compliments the vibe perfectly.

There was a bath tub and the room was much larger than expected. Pet friendly.

Chehalis is a pleasant county seat near its twin city, Centralia, which is mid-way between Seattle and Portland. Both towns have pleasant historical museums. We have enjoyed Dennys near OYO many years, but these Twin Cities have other good restaurants as well.

Very disappointed and discouraged.
Very disappointed and discouraged. The hotel rooms were OK but not incredibly pleasant. The communication with the Hotel was POOR. I tried to cancel one of my three rooms within the cancellation window and never received any satisfaction. I talked to several people and got lios service. The hotel was full so it is very likely that they would have been able to book the room with someone else.
Also, My neighbor lady reserved a room and requested a room on the bottom floor as she is disabled. When she arrived the by informed that there were no bottom floor rooms available. She ended up going a DIFFERENT motel next door and LOVED it! Her description of that hotel and her room convinced me to stay at the OTHER hotel if I ever need to stay in Chehalis again.

Chehalis is midway between Portland and Seattle (87 miles each way) As a traveler stop there are a number of fast food and chain restaurants. There are also a number of hotels. With the latter, some are chain and some are locally owned. You get what you pay for.
On the north end there’s one of those factory discount malls. I’ve seen a veteran’s museum just off the interstate but have never stopped.
By the outlet mall there’s “Country Cousins” a farmhouse style restaurant. That’s heavy on comfort food and breakfast. The staff is friendly and many locals eat there.

Chehalis is a very cute little town.
Chehalis is a very cute little town. Lots of farm land and rolling hills. It is also close to some of the Outlet Stores. They are just a couple exits down.
We were there for my daughters Wedding weekend. The Best western we chose was in a perfect location for us.

Chehalis on on I-5 highway south of Olympia, WA.
Chehalis on on I-5 highway south of Olympia, WA. The motel was off the road enough to avoid traffic noise. We visited the outlet mall businesses while in town. Ate at Kit Carson where the food was wonderful and the overworked wait staff was cheerful anyway.
I stayed for the weekend as we were celebration my daughter in laws celebration of life. There was a huge high school athletic event so the pool / hot tub were very noisy. When I got back I asked if I could get in a little late when it was quiet, they staff was so wonderful and allowed me to enjoy a few minutes of quiet after a long and emotional day. Thank you so much. The breakfast was also amazing. I will continue to recommend this hotel in Chehalis.
We like how clean, spacious and comfortable our room was. Also, the quiet and safety place this hotel is, even when is located close to the I-5.
In general its location is perfect, with accessibility to the town, restaurants, groceries stores, gas stations, parks and entertainments. The parking lot is well illuminated, with vigilant cameras, the room access is easy too. The price is totally affordable and right for what you received.
The location was great since we were attending a wedding at The Loft in Chehalis. Lots of room for parking. We only had two cars, but I was impressed with the room to park. didn’t get to enjoy the back deck and open back yard, but it looked great. Did see a local raccoon out the kitchen window. Beds were really comfy and the place was really clean.
We were in Chehalis for an appointment, so the location was perfect. We were able to take a nice walk from the hotel to the very cute historic area. The room was spacious; we were able to make dinner in the microwave with lots of room. The staff was wonderful--very easy check in & very helpful.
Staff - front desk on phone or in person, they helped me facilitate my families as we came from AK, CO, & WA to gather for my mom, their grandma, & great grandmother’s celebration of life. Tough loss but we all felt at home staying in Best Western Plus-Chehalis.
Room was super clean. Bed was freshly made and very clean. Very basic, but you get what you pay for. Good value , especially when you consider the cheap price. Other similarly priced places in local area do not come close to matching value or cleanliness.
Easy access from the highway and to get into Chehalis. Beautiful flowers and attractive appearance. However, the room was quite small and dark. No connection to the hotel, but a very nice seafood restaurant round the corner.
The hotel was nicely setup for an overnight stay. It was close to the state parks we were looking to explore and close to several good restaurants. We were very happy with the facilities all round.
