Convenient location. External grounds maintained well. Room was comfortable, bedding and linens were good.
A town of about 11000, older storefronts. This gives more of a hometown feel. Many churches to choose from for Sunday services. Close to Hershey and Lancaster attractions. A small college town, along with the Abel Family venues for weddings and such. Great place to use as a home base when in the area. Guss's Restaurant served home-cooked meals, and Brothers Pizza has quite the menu for the kids, large pizza or buy it by the slice, all good. Many more eateries to try.
We chose to stay here because of its close proximity to Hershey and Lancaster. Other areas like Harrisburg and Gettysburg are also within easy driving distance, It is a lovely B&B, very comfortable and homey. Our host, Tim, was very friendly and accommodating, The setting is beautiful, out in the country surrounded mostly by farmland but not far from the town of Elizabethtown with restaurants and shopping. It was nice to have a coffee & snack bar in the hallway outside our room with access to ice for our cooler.
It was not a good value at all, the room smelled very strong and was very nauseating. The bathroom was for lack of a better word, icky and at that moment decided we would not stay. (dirty, moldy, in need of a total remodel). I requested a refund and was denied. Booking should not have this hotel on their website, as it is not up to minimal standards… very disappointing.
Master room was very large, bed was comfortable and breakfast was very delicious with many choices of fruit, breakfast rolls and scones, sausage, French toast and quiche along with juice choices and coffee. Owners were very friendly and if in the area we would stay again but 1500 miles away so will be awhile again.
This was a quiet hotel close to the town, 5 min drive.
The room was clean, big, comfortable and quiet, despite facing the front of the hotel where all the cars parked.
The reception staff was very nice and helpful and very professional.
The staff was awesome! There was a soccer tournament in the area so the hotel was super busy. The staff accommodated us as if we were the only guests there. Can't say enough 🤗
Nice location for a last minute stay. Room was clean and nice; just what you would expect from any other motel/hotel room. King sized-bed which was very nice and comfortable.
I like that there was a restaurant right across the street and a area for my son to practice his routine for his tournament and for my 1yr to run off some energy
