Everything! Location, water view, family-friendly accommodations, clean! Great staff! Very nice and helpful. I am a DIY-er so, the professional remodel, paint, caulk, woodwork caught my attention compared to places that just hire cheap. Had everything we needed in the kitchen.

I don't see how they can rent out a room that the wires to the smoke alarm are hanging from the ceiling and there is black mold in the shower and under the toilet lip. We also were asked if we were smoking in the room and no way as I have a breathing problem and don't. I feel we should get reimbursed for that stuff and not have to have the full amount if any paid to them.

The motel it self was nice and the staff were nice but the mobility room they had us in was not a mobility room as way too small for a handicap person to get around in. The bathroom shower flooded all over the floor because of the floor itself not draining right. It was not fun trying to get around in that room with my walker which I couldn't and be comfortable.

We saw a sign for a "supper fundraiser" being put on by the volunteer fire department. I googled for information. We bought two suppers. Everything was very organized and efficiently done. We found a park alongside Lake Minnewaksa and had supper in the park. Afterwards a young boy name Nash and his grandpa parked in the lot with a load of pumpkins. We listened to the little salesman and bought 5 pumpkins. Glennwood is a very picturesque and comfortable town. We are thinking about coming back again with our extended family when it is safe to be together again. Our goal was to check out the bike trails. we did like what we saw.

The last time we were in Glenwood we attended a event at a facility that was like a ballroom and a nationally popular Canadian group called the Crewcuts sang there around 1956. The same Ballroom was a popular stop of most of the Big Bands of that time such as Tommy Dorsey, Billie May, Louis Armstrong. The original building burned down but has been replaced. We were lucky to have lunch and dinner there. Great food, nicely priced. very good menu. Sits on a very nice sized lake and with great views. Glenwood itself is just a nice, small, comfortable Minnesota prairie town. Quite impressive!
