I actually live in Highlands Ranch.

I actually live in Highlands Ranch. Came to stay at the hotel when our house was without water for a couple of days (long story). Highlands Ranch is a large residential community in the south metro Denver area. It's a lovely place to live. Lots of shopping nearby, parks, trails, close to major highways and the mountains. Getting around is easy - this was a master planned community from the start so they made the roads wide enough to accommodate the traffic. Over 250,000 people live in Highlands Ranch, but you'd never know it. Getting to downtown Denver, where more of the tourist attractions are, is a bit more challenging. However it's just an hour to Colorado Springs, 75 miles to the major ski areas of Summit County.

The interstate & county roads were under heavy construction...

The interstate & county roads were under heavy construction for added lanes with dozens of temporary signs that were pretty good most of the time but resulting in having to turn around twice in one area coming from the Denver Internat'l Airport going to Highlands Ranch. Can't complain because that's progress for them, being from another state! The town of HR is so new and inviting. Been here twice before visiting relatives. We went to a 90th birthday weekend get together with family, so not much time spent eating out. Did some site seeing in the nearby mountains - beautiful country!

I was here because of a family member in the hospital.

I was here because of a family member in the hospital. Convenience/location to the hospital was perfect. I lived in the area years ago and always thought it was a beautiful place to be. Unfortunately, this was not a pleasure trip.

So upset. I ended up having emergency abdominal surgery and requested to change dates. The hotel wouldn’t talk to us and kept referring us to booking.com. Booking.com only has options to send requests to the hotel or tells you to contact the hotel directly. So it was a loop…hotel telling us to contact the booking website, the booking website telling us to contact the hotel. So we were never able to change the reservation yet I was still charged. Terrible customer service.

Lobby was dirty, business center not working Restaurant closed, pool was out of order a few days. No housekeeping services had to leave old used towels out in the hall for pick up then wait in line at front desk to get clean towels soaps etc and bring up yourself. Room news old snd dated, mold on shower curtains. We paid way too much for such poor service in a shabby hotel. Never again. Only nice thing was a few front desk employees were very courteous!

The room was clean and spacious, even having 2 adults and 4 kids! Staff was friendly, and while we miss hot hotel breakfast, there was a decent selection of food at the grab and go breakfast. Lots of good restaurants very close to the hotel, and good access to Denver, Colorado Springs, and the mountains.

Bed was super comfortable. The location was very accommodating for my dog. A path to walk him right there and also a grassy area he could go potty. Made it so much easier having that so close. All staff was helpful friendly and professional. Very clean! Great stay and wonderful hot breakfast.

Our room was very nice and clean, it was rather large. Nice seating area, small kitchen-type area, and two queen size beds. Very large vanity in bathroom - however the tub was cracked and creaked when you moved on it. Otherwise, the room was very nice.

I did not ask for a quiet room. I asked for a pet friendly room. I was told it was a pet friendly hotel and then when I got there it was not. My tiny little dog had to sleep in the cold car. We had to get up every few hours to go warm up the car
