Everything about the condo was just about perfect. The bed was a little firmer than our preference, but we adjusted to it (and some people may prefer the firmness!) The kitchen allowed us to make two meals a day - saving money and eating healthier! It was quiet in our building across the road from the main building. We only saw a couple of people in the building the entire week we were there, and the only noise was from cars driving by (sometimes with loud music or revving engines.) Nice extras like two beach chairs, beach towels, and a small cooler. (Also a life-vest, though we didn't need that.) Also a water filter in the fridge was a nice touch.
Located facing the Pacific Ocean on Kailua Bay, the Royal Kona Resort features a private beach area, a saltwater lagoon, an outdoor swimming pool, and an on-site restaurant.
