The staff was exceptional. I was there for one of the saddest events in my life. I did an honor shot for my fiance and cried when I saw it there the next morning just as we left it the night before withy note explaining it.

A beautiful lodge in a perfect location with comfortable rooms and artwork everywhere...really a great place. I just wish the food was better. It was disappointingly ordinary and came out of the kitchen cold and greasy. After a couple of nights, had to drive to Portland to get a decent meal.

We were in Kalama to watch our granddaughter's soccer game and we wanted to be "in town" as apposed to traveling to Longview or Kelso. The OYO motel is the only one in Kalama except for the new one down by the park. We didn't want to pay a lot of money since we just wanted a good bed and a shower available. We weren't spending a lot of time at the motel. We stayed two nights and were pleased with the price. In fact, the motel was more than adequate for what we expected at the price. We would recommend the motel if people wanted to stay in Kalama.
