Loved everything about our stay. The jacuzzi, fireplace, and private back porch with a bistro table and chairs was so amazing. I absolutely loved it and so did my wife. Carl (the owner) is awesome! Very close to downtown shopping, restaurants and the waterfront but still quiet and private with a view of mountains and farmland. This was a much needed relaxing stay and I will be back!

Good location but amenities and kitchen utilities were lacking. No dishwasher, toaster or laundry. Dull knives. No plastic wrap, wax paper, or aluminum foil or plastic bags to take a sandwich on a hike.
No bathmat for shower. Shoddy workmanship on repairs. Missing hooks on bathroom towel rack. No bedside tables, just padded stools for your glasses and water at night. Big wasp nest by front walkway. It felt like a budget motel.

La Connor is an easy going and fun little town.
La Connor is an easy going and fun little town. It has a variety of artists shops and antique shops and very friendly people. You can have everything from prime rib and fresh seafood to a burger and a beer. There are plenty of artisan crafted items to draw in your attention, and inspire you to treat yourself to a simple luxury. The streets easy to walk and well maintained for those who might have additional accessibility needs. The public restrooms are well kept. And la Conner always feels like they truly do welcome you.

La Conner is a rare find, full of a variety of artisans.
La Conner is a rare find, full of a variety of artisans. The culture there is very relaxing and the townsfolk are friendly. It is nestled on the water, with boat excursions being offered for whale watching. The best fish and chips at the pub. You can park your vehicle and walk to the shops that are on the Main Street. Many antique shops, yarn shop, and unique clothing shops. It’s a very quaint town that I love to visit, getting around the town is very easy with plenty of places to eat great food.
We had an amazing stay with Joan and John. Wow! the hosts are fantastic and made us feel like family. The inn is very old and well appointed. I cannot say enough about the breakfast. Gourmet, farm to table and plentiful! We were always looking for cookies and we made sure we had some for our night cap. Our expectations were vastly exceeded and this experience is what a bed and breakfast is all about. Culminating with a glass of wine with John, Joan and the neighbors around the fire pit. We really miss our new family already….
Staff was absolutely outstanding; greeting guests in a most welcoming way; room decoration lovely; bed and pillows quite comfortable. First day box breakfast was OUTSTANDING and the second day when dining room officially reopened; the breakfast was outstanding. If we were in the area; we definitely would stay at this Inn again and definitely recommend to others. Staff is what made this Inn so outstanding. They went out of their way to accommodate guests needs.
This is a comfy B&B with friendly hosts and delicious breakfasts. The atmosphere is friendly and it was fun to meet other guests over breakfast and swap stories. It is about a 10-minute walk to the La Conner waterfront where there are interesting shops and restaurants. It is also a 20-minute or so drive to nearby tulip farms which are a must-see for those travelling here in the spring.
We stayed at the Wild Iris Inn over 20 years ago as a gift from our parents. We came back to celebrate our 30th wedding anniversary and it was more beautiful than we remembered! The room was clean and cozy and the bed was very comfortable. We enjoyed the sauna tub on the deck with the privacy. Breakfast was delicious! We loved the option of the onsite breakfast and coffee.
The breakfast was typical of a continental breakfast at any hotel, nothing particularly exceptional, the setting of the hotel is its biggest asset - the channel, the boats, the cute town of La Conner itself, the landscaping and flower baskets and pots outside were exceptional, the room was clean and comfortable, some of the staff were friendly and welcoming.
The location was terrific, and La Conner is a cute, quiet, and wonderful little village. The Lodge's location on the water is wonderful, and made for beautiful evening sunsets on the patio, and morning coffee on the dock. The rooms were comfortable and well equipped, with decent bathroom fixtures, enough storage, and a very comfortable bed and bedding.
The view, the cozy fireplace, the fresh flowers throughout the Lodge, the central location to shops/restaurants, and the jacuzzi tub, all made this a top choice and stay for La Conner! I really enjoyed my time there and would definitely recommend it! The staff was helpful and wonderful too!
La Conner is a gem in Washington and the heron inn was a Perfect Location. The staff were all so nice and helpful. My wife and I honeymooned here and it was the most relaxing experience for us! We highly recommend and look forward to returning.
Beautiful room, nice Hotel overlooking the river, walking distance to The Beautiful town of Laconner, art walk, lots of shopping and the Seafood restaurant's were all Amazing!
Fresh Oysters, Salmon & Crab, paired with a Wonderful Wine 💗
Loved the room on the river, the hotel staff was amazing and enjoyed the fire pit!
Overall we loved this hotel. Its become rather expensive however so the value for money is why the hotel is not rated higher.
Wonderful hosts! Lovely inn, excellent historical flavour. Beautiful gardens. A short walk to all La Conner attractions, and La Conner is a sweet and pleasant destination. Excellent breakfast. Cannot be beat!
Lovely Inn right in the heart of town. Our room was very pretty and comfortable and spotlessly clean. The staff were very helpful and the continental breakfast was very nice. We really enjoyed our stay.
The room was spacious and comfortable, and the staff was extremely kind and accomodating. We'll definitely be returning to La Conner and are looking forward to staying at the Heron Inn again!
Great room, hotel and location. Ate at the local food restaurant which was supurb. Lovely town with great shops and galleries. The location is wonderful and we hope to come back.
