Lombard is a great central location to stay when visiting the near west suburbs of Chicago. It is less expensive than staying in Oak Brook, which is located next door, but very convenient to the entire area.

It's close to many establishments to fulfill an array of needs and wants. Whether it's shopping for items forgotten to pack or just finding things you like ( malls- grocery stores- Walgreens-Target). Entertainment is not that far away going in any direction Things for the kids or the kid in you; as well as adult night life.

Lombard is an affordable location.
Lombard is an affordable location. I did not see any evidence of crime in the 4 days we stayed. Lots of restaurant options. Very convenient to 355. Good location for Muslim travelers because of halal restaurant options and proximity to mosques. Not a super glamorous area North road is more of a budget area that over by the Hyatt. To avoid the toll road going into Chicago, go about 6 miles East to 290. Chicago is maybe a 20 minute drive. Driving was really not bad in terms of congestion. We were there on weekdays. There is a Jewel grocery store, Aldi, and a Target nearby, and some more upscale businesses. Some of the Indian restaurants are closed on Mondays. Most restaurants, Target, and Aldi were closed when we drove in about 10:30 on Sunday night.AnneUnited States of America - 10Scored 10

Reeked of cigarettes or marijuana. I opened the sleep sofa for my son and garbage was everywhere. The sofa was soiled, The sheets were dingy. There were bugs going through a hole in the bathroom. Utensils were missing from the kitchen. The bathroom shower was hanging off the wall. This hotel has really gone down. To be in such a nice area. Our GPs kept telling us that we had arrived. We went into the Target store and they pointed out the hotel. You need better making from 22nd Street and also better marking on the north side of the hotel.
