Check in was easy. Room was not fancy but was sufficient and the bed was comfortable. We stayed in the ‘modern’ section not the historic part. Rates are pretty high for what it is but are on par with the other hotels in Lone Pine and Bishop. Parking was good. Really good restaurants, Merry go round (Asian) was fantastic and Alhambra bakery for breakfast was excellent. Will stay again for sure

With this quaint motel you step back in time but from the moment we walked in to register till we left all was great. The family/staff were so friendly and helpful. We could walk to two or three restaurants or grocery. Entrance o Death Valley was just down the road. All in all a great place to stay.

We had an amazing stay at Basecamp! We were passing through town and stayed the night. Arrival was smooth, the suite was clean and had everything we needed. I wanted to make a special shoutout to the property manager. I though I had lost an item in the room and he helped me try to track it down. Then, when my car battery died, he offered to come from the next town over to give me a jump (which I, thankfully, didn't end up needing). Great place and great people!
