Very dirty bathroom and shower backed up. No soap in the room. Very poor lighting in room. The towels and sheets did not look clean and they are old and gray instead of white. Carpet was obviously dirty. Checked out after one night instead of staying for three.

Laying in that bed was like floating on a puffy cloud!
Laying in that bed was like floating on a puffy cloud! View from bed was absolutely breathtaking! The shower was Amazing… perfect water temp within seconds, water pressure was OUTSTANDING and the high shower head made it wonderful since I’m tall!
The only thing that may have been not so great is the view from the balcony… ( paint store next door… but I think if the store was painted and given a beachy look it would of been better)
But honestly the comfort of the bed which was absolutely INCREDIBLE, The Tropical view thru the French doors from the bed was STUNNING, and the AMAZING shower was worth every penny and then some!!! I would definitely recommend this place and I will definitely be back!!!

Great place, clean and beautiful beach, dogs not allowed on the beach and I had to leave mine at the hotel but it's alright, it's a way to keep it very clean and comfortable for people with no dogs.

The employee allowed us to check in early so that we could get ready to attend a wedding that afternoon. That was outstanding customer service. The only thing that could have been better, was the shower was in need of replacement, so it was hard to adjust the right temperature and not working very well.
Gorgeous spot in San Clemente! More of a B&B feel, the owners take great pride in their gorgeous hotel and make you feel right at home. We enjoyed meeting the owners and learning about their new hotel, which they built from the ground up. Rooms are thoughtfully and beautifully appointed. Sparkling clean and comfy beds with all of the amenities one would expect from a luxury hotel. Thanks for such a memorable stay at North Beach Villa.
Front desk staff was very nice and welcoming. Room was very clean with nice bright decor. Room had plenty of light and airflow. (I don't like dark hotel rooms). The room served it's purpose, it was just for one night and I had my fur baby. This was a pet friendly room so it had separate towels and linen for my pet.
Strong points:
- Location. Amazing location if you plan of surfing Trestles and/or staying in the local core of San Clemente. Highly recommend renting a bike to move around.
- Vibe. The surf vibe is exactly what we were looking for. The place has an amazing decor and it’s a fun, relaxed and welcoming atmosphere.
The hotel has really good facilities. The room has everything you need and my son loved the pool and the jacuzzi as the water was warm. We were supposed to stay for a week and ended up extending to 10 days. The location is perfect if you want to surf Trestles however you will need a car to do everything
Everything was great, room was spacious and comfortable with a nice bathroom. Everywhere was clean. Staff were friendly. Breakfast was excellent. Even though it was right next to the freeway we didn't hear the traffic very much. Fairly close (5 min drive) to San Clemente pier and main shopping area.
This place is a gem! The location is perfect - central to everything in San Clemente. The inn itself has a quaint feel but with all the amenities you need - cute outdoor pool and hot tub, breakfast, a little courtyard area, and fitness center. We loved our stay!
The guys running the hostel are good fun and super friendly and talkative. Really does make a difference especially if you are travelling on your own.
Absolutely loved San Clemente - a stunning little piece of paradise in California.
We were right on the main street of the San Clemente Pier. The view was beautiful, and the access to the beach was exceptional. The resort gives you complimentary access to beach towels, umbrella, chairs, and beach toys for the kids.
Very accommodating owners! We needed to get ready for a wedding and they were able to get us in our room a half hour early. Room was so nice and new and loved everything about this gem of a hotel in San Clemente!
