The breakfast is an insult, it is poor, ugly and of poor quality, the plates and cutlery are disposable… it is a real shame… I will never stay in any hotel of this brand again.

Excellent stay! Drove up from Jersey for Binghampton College new admit day for my son and had a great time. Room was large for a family of 4, beds were comfy, room temp was easily adjustable. We'll be back for his orientation in around the July 4th timeframe!

We had booked the 2 rooms and 2 double beds but we arrive...

We had booked the 2 rooms and 2 double beds but we arrive they gave 1 room with 2 beds. We ask for double rooms and they said they didn’t have and gave us second room. When we got home we noticed they charged both rooms without telling us. There was not wheelchair accessible, no microwave , no water jar and coffee maker. Totally misleading information.

Vestal is a sprawling community with a university.

Vestal is a sprawling community with a university. There doesn't seem to be a real downtown although there is a town square where entertainment is offered in the summer months. Rather, there is a large commercial area along a roadway called the Vestal Parkway with a variety of retail shopping and dining options. There are a number of quality golf courses in the area as well one of the largest collections of working carousels.

This hotel provides nothing that is advertised.

This hotel provides nothing that is advertised. It’s dirty, breakfast menu hangs on wall but nothing advertised is available. No decaf coffee or healthy breakfast options. No way to get change for washer and dryer. Cups in room were dirty and moldy! 2 days of no serving utensils for food!

I was there to visit Binghamton.

I was there to visit Binghamton. Never enough time to enjoy my niece's fun company. Many, many stores and places to eat fast food and dine as well. We ate at Thai Time, quite delicious. We shopped at Target and bought lots of things for my niece in college.

    My wife is from Vestal.

My wife is from Vestal. She was blessed to grow up in such a beautiful quaint town. She goes home to visit her family and we usually stay at a hotel rather than at the house. So this was perfect! Love the seasons~every time I've gone back there with her, it's been different.

The breakfast was great. Plenty of choices. Not just boxed cereal and bagels. The staff was great. Bobby was so pleasant and accommodating. We got there a little early and he had no problem letting us check in. The grounds were really pretty. It was like a little community complex. The room was spacious and very comfortable. Was close to the University, restaurants, shopping. Our daughter goes to school in Binghamton and we will definitely come back and stay at the Residence Inn. #1 Choice for us.

Undoubtedly the best feature of this hotel was the eminently practical layout of both the bedroom and washroom. There was more storage in this hotel room than any that I have stayed in previously - and we really needed it as we were staying there one night in the middle of moving from Brooklyn to Canada. You could tell they had actually put a lot of thought into designing the rooms, which so often is not the case. The parking lot was large and safe. The breakfast was pretty good for a free hotel breakfast.

Staff is very friendly, gave me the option of choosing a suite on the first or second floor which I appreciated! The studio suite was the perfect size for me and it was very clean, the bed super comfortable. Having an oven in the kitchen was a HUGE bonus and the kitchen itself provided all the basic supplies one might need. I also liked how the property was laid out more like condominiums than a hotel, which helps to add to the feel that you are at home.

The owner and I had a couple of nice chats. The staff were always offering to bring me fresh towels which was nice of them. That being said, unless I was outside I was never bothered by any hotel workers. I was able to mind my own business on the very comfortable bed in my room. The place also just so happens to be within range of a Domino's, which is always a plus.

I booked the king suite with roll in shower and the place was big! Almost a bachelor apartment, very spacious, clean, and the kitchen was a favorite. I specifically looked for a hotel with a kitchen and this one delivered! It helped me save money on eating out.

The bedding was comfortable and the room temperature was easy to control. It was quiet also. The breakfast area was roomy and the food was plentiful with a good selection of fruit, cereals, waffles, juices, hot beverages, and eggs and sausage.

The room size was wonderful, the set-up of the room was also really good. Having a full-size kitchen was also great. Everything was really clean and even though the hotel was busy, you had quite a bit of privacy.
