The Check in woman was excellent. There was a VERY noise group, but she handled it very professionally. While it's an older property, it's very clean and the location is great.

It was a nice hotel with a good breakfast. The pool area was really nice, and even though we didn't spend time in the lobby area, it was a really nice space that I could have seen using more if we didn't have super active little kids. The staff was wonderful, and it seemed like the hotel was working hard to limit the amount of waste produced in the room, which was great. No travel bottles, plastic bags, bars of soap, etc.

A beautiful, historic city with many well maintained Civil War era buildings. There is a public mall with many businesses and plaques describing buildings and the role they played in the war. The dogwoods were in bloom, which made everything look beautiful.
We ate dinner at Violino Ristorante Italiano - 181 N Loudoun St. Authentic Italian food - it was fabulous! Pasta was homemade and delicious. It's small - so recommend a reservation.
Nice shops in the historic area too.

Old town in Winchester has a great variety of shops and restaurants.
We ate at a small sports tavern and the food was good, however they neglected to leave the mushrooms off my linguini and I am allergic to them. Fortunately I did not eat one before I found and picked them out.

When I entered the hotel ,there was a very hostile situation going on at the Reception area, eventually the police had to be called to remove the customer, who was obviously in the wrong . I felt unsafe and very uncomfortable. I went to my room and there was a large gap between the door jam and door, so I went out and picked up a safety door jam so I could at least try to get some sleep. The room had a dirty / cheap cover up smell and my bed sheets had a black stain on them. Due to work I didn't get in until 10:30 and was too tired to call housekeeping so I slept on the other side of the bed. The walls had chips of paint scratched off and the couch was filthy. I didn't even walk on bare feet on the carpet. The continental breakfast was barely existent.

Staying at that hotel ruined our whole trip, wouldn't ever stay there even if it was free, owed at least for the last night, plus in my booking the room with pets allowed was no mention of any extra charges for pet ,thought it was already in the price of the daily room with pets charge but when I checked in was informed that in addition to the daily room charge was extra $30 a day for our 2 cats = $120.also the hallways reaked of pet smells.
Staff was very friendly. Room was wonderful and clean. Love the jacuzzi . It was very close to fast food,Gas station. We were in town because our son had surgery at Winchester hospital. It is less than 10 minutes from the hospital. The hot breakfast .. yes real bacon and selections for breakfast was awesome . They even had to go bags if you were in a rush. I’m a diabetic so having not just carb selections was wonderful . I can’t say enough about this hotel and it’s staff. We will stay here again ! Indoor pool was a plus too.
This hotel is not the type of hotel we typically stay at as a family; but we will be back!! The hotel is located about 1.5 blocks away from the Old Town market area. We enjoyed a stroll through before choosing where to have dinner. The staff was amazing. The hotel is on the national historic registry and has many displays showcasing its rich history. There is a lounge in the lobby as well as a restaurant, spa, pool and exercise room in the basement.
Comfortable good value no frills for your basic needs. Hot shower, adjustable heat/cool/fan in room worked great. plenty of grass area to walk dog at this dog friendly hotel with no additional fees. Helpful Staff.
Surprisingly quiet set back from road. some tenants were shouting loud but after 10 it was peaceful. close to convenience stores, restaurants and highway.
The staff is friendly and accommodating. Their pet policy is the best, just $15/night. The rooms are well kept and the faux-wood/laminate flooring is a welcome improvement over wall to wall carpeting. Apart from occasionally hearing chatter in the hallway it's a very quiet hotel. The bathroom is functional and well appointed -- the shower is pretty amazing.
We loved our stay. Rooms were clean and comfortable.
The hightlight of our stay was Juliana, the hotel everything. She was above and beyond to make our stay perfect. She was at the front desk, bringing towels to the pool, fixing the light in our bathroom, brings hot water to the coffee bar after hours....She is amazing.
Looks like a new hotel. Tastefully decorated. Staff was professional, pleasant and accommodating. Every room has a walk in shower (I think) which is a plus - beds one of the most comfortable and all kinds of covid precautions. (even provided a purse size bottle of hand sanitizer) Will be back!
Hotel is overall clean and my room was sparkling clean and comfortable. Breakfast was generous with a few hot choices like scrambled eggs, bacon and Belgium waffles. Hotel has a lobby seating area in addition to the tables in the breakfast area. Staff was very pleasant and helpful.
The room itself was cleaned, although an odd smell when you enter. The front office staff was polite. I asked to have a lower ground room and they were able to accomodate. Beds were comfortable.
Staff was amazing. I had a room issue and they quickly mo ed me with smiles on their faces
Rooms and hotel very clean and beds comfy.
Pancakes for breakfast were great.
Pet friendly!
Hotel staff actually put me in the type of room I requested - first floor near an exit. Bed was comfortable and everything was in good working order. Plenty of grassy area for dogs.
