We loved the room and tub but were disappointed the pool and hot tub weren’t working. We had to buy pillows because the ones there were so flat. Other then that staff was great 👍🏻

What a beautiful location! The room was very spacious and clean, the tub was great, the check process was so easy, and it was quiet and comfortable. The whole place is lovely. The burgers were excellent!

Live blue grass music was tremendous! Old fashioned inn had lots of board games and lots of opportunities to interact. No television in room was a plus because I'm trying to keep my 12 year old off the screens

This place is quiet, clean, comfy and peaceful. It is an upstairs two bedroom apartment in a quaint red barn surrounded by mown lawns and woods with a pond. The towels are thick and soft, and there was a heater/fan available. The prints on the bathroom walls are cute! The whole place is light and airy with nice views.
The kitchen has everything you need to cook or heat up your own meals. The cupboards have plenty of dishes, cups, etc. There is coffee in the cupboard and salt and pepper.
The queen bed was great and I enjoyed the deep bathtub.
There is a washer and dryer with detergent available and that was a huge plus as we were halfway into our two week trip.
The host was available to assist via text and that was very helpful.
The property grounds are beautiful and lush and we wandered around before we left. It would be a great place to rest up and be refreshed. I wish we had had more time!

Woodsville is a small town, but has good restaurants, and stores nearby. Just check to see when the restaurants are open as their hours change during the week. The Shiloh restaurant is right off the main road and serves a good variety of dishes. Also, Tutlle's Diner, in Wells River has a delicious breakfast and homemade bread.

The area around Nootka Lodge had every accommodation that one would need if in the area. There is a 24 hour Cumberland Farms next door, a Walmart one minute away, a Shaw's Supermarket, and a McDonald's within walking distance. Beautiful scenery and friendly people!
