The fabulous hosts made me feel welcome, spoilt, and cared for, even before I arrived. They really go the extra mile. I loved having breakfast in the garden. Honeysuckle is a short walk from the town centre, and far enough away to be a haven away from it. They have contingencies for water and power cuts. Thank you.

Our accommodation at Andes was excellent, we will definitely return for a longer stay. We had a delicious dinner at Clementines, and thoroughly enjoyed a relaxed wander through the village the next morning.

Great location for walking with your fur baby.
Great location for walking with your fur baby. Several stores sell Clarence Conservancy permits and maps and the conservancy is well-maintained and marked so it's safe and easy to walk and hike. There are a number of restaurants and coffee shops so it's possible to skip the self-catering option.

One of the best destinations in South Africa.
One of the best destinations in South Africa. The town lies amidst beautiful sandstone mountains, it has excellent restaurants and very interesting little shops. There are so many activities in the area like walking, mountain biking, quad biking and horse riding to name just a few. It is really a small town with a big heart!

The town has a number of interesting shops for homeware, clothing and home-produced preserves and food stuffs. There is a good range of restaurants and we enjoyed our meals at Clementine's, Gosto and the Clarens Brewery. Most places are to be found around the central grassy square and they are very easy to access..

Clarens has its own special charm and uniqueness.
Clarens has its own special charm and uniqueness. People are friendly and one feels safe there. Its in beautiful surroundings and the shops around the square are very cool to walk around and just chill.
It was our second stay and hopefully not our last. What a wonderful place with everything you could possibly need. It is set on a very pretty farm and easy to reach Clarens or Bethlehem. Minda is amazing and does everything she can to make you feel at home. We were welcomed with delicious brownies waiting for us in our room and the fire all set up for us to light. They also have Braai meals you can pre-order to cook in your own private Braai complete with a beautifully made Salad and farm bread. Definitely a stop you need to make. Thank you.
The location is just outside of Clarens and a quick 5 min drive into the town square. The host was very welcoming ,friendly and the property is lovely. Great view of the Maluti mountains and also a quick 15 minute drive into Golden Gate National Park. It's a small self catering cottage on residential property with braai facilities, wifi and a small kitchenette which is perfect if you not looking to make huge meals whilst vacationing.
The resort has fantastic facilities with entertainment for young and old. Perfectly situated close to Clarens and the Golden Gate. The scenery is spectacular and the staff do a great job at keeping the facilities in perfect condition. The facility manager (Tommy) was of great assistance during our stay. We will definitely be back and would recommend Kiara lodge to anyone.
Excellent location for exploring Clarens and areas around Clarens . The house is spacious, very clean , modern and well looked after . All the amenities to make one's stay very pleasurable . Security excellent . Host very friendly and efficient . We were looking for a place where we as a family could spend time together and it exceeded our expectations .
The venue is a walking distance to shops and restaurants. The host Mercia welcomed us like she had met us before and we felt at home. The unit was sanitized and well prepared _everything clean and smart👌. The breakfast was fantastic! 👏🏾. This is the best place to stay in Clarens. Will surely return - hopefully soon 😋
We are a couple traveling with our dog. We liked that this house is pet friendly and has a small enclosed garden for our dog. The house is clean, well-appointed, and thoughtfully stocked up. It has a lovely wrap around porch with a lovely view of Clarens hillside.
The Farm is absolutely amazing and is a stunning place to stay at.
Not far from Clarens at all, very close.
The bedding is so crisp and fresh and the views are stunning, the best is when the stars come out at night.
The people are so welcoming and friendly.
EVERYTHING!! This was by far the best accommodation we have booked in a while. Stunning !! The hostess Julia was amazing. The property was 7 star. We really loved every moment spent here. Will def be back! 😊 The location is the best in Clarens by far. 10/10
Clarens is often described as an oasis in the Free State. Well, The French Cottage is an oasis in Clarens. The location is absolutely fantastic and although you are in Clarens you have privacy and a magnificent secluded cave and trails to delight.
Situated very close to the main square in Clarens, yet so peaceful, relaxing and quiet. The Butterfly Villa was very spacious and comfortable .Everything you need for self catering was provided. Will definately return.
Great option for a quick stay in Clarence. Centrally located and very fair price. We arrived late and even though the restaurant (which forms part of the hotel) was closed the chef whipped us up some spaghetti!
The hospitality, it felt like home away from home. As a group of friends we appreciate the patience the hosts had and the warmth they gave us. The place was clean and it's very close from everything in Clarens
Room was clean and comfortable. The reception and restaurant staff were warm and friendly. Breakfast was lovely. The hotel is centrally located, very close to the square and all the restaurants.
