Minette was a superb host and went out of her way to to us feel welcome. She helped us with printing documents, supplied my husband with a razor and accommodated out late check in and early check out. The room was spotlessly clean and very comfortable and has been decorated beautifully! Will definitely stay here again! Thank you Minette!

As Paarl is my home town I’m probably a little biased. The town has much to offer. The historic Main Street, so put on your walking shoes. For those travellers who enjoy wine Paarl has a lot to offer. There are plenty of wine estates to visit including the KWV winery. A visit to Paarl Rock is a must with stunning views across the valley. Paarl is home to the Afrikaans language visit the Taal Monument. For those travellers who want a relaxing break, Paarl is for you. Paarl unlike other Wineland towns like Stellenbosch and Franshoek is a lot less quieter with fewer tourists. A gem not to be missed.

Paarl has a very interesting Main Street if you enjoy architecture: there are a couple of centuries of architectural styles here. The scenery and surrounding mountains are spectacular and of course … let’s not forget all those gorgeous wine estates, tastings and food pairings.

There is more than enough quality and good restaurants.
There is more than enough quality and good restaurants. Lots of things to do (e.g. el Paca farm). beautiful surrounds and fairly quiet. The only detractor are the beggars on the streets - I never felt threatened, but it gets a bit much after a while.

The Laborie location is perfect ..close access the highway .
The Laborie location is perfect ..close access the highway ..and not far from Franschoek and Stellenbosch. We really enjoy the Winelands and prefer it to the the hustle and bustle of Central Cape Town. Paarl itself is quaint and quiet ..although in fairness we did not venture out into the wineland area of Paarl ..as our trip was too s hort ..only 5 days ..next time it will be for two weeks ..
I have stayed at Goedemoed under its current and previous owners several times since 2010. It is perhaps my favorite place to stay in all of South Africa. Stunning views over the vineyards to the mountains in the distance. The property, centered around a Dutch colonial manor house, has recently been renovated. Excellent breakfast. Very friendly hosts. Feels like you are in the middle of the countryside when actually you are two minutes from the Paarl Mall or the restaurants on Paarl's main road.
Quaint unpretentious cottage on a working wine farm run by the family owners. Amazingly comfortable beds. The cottage is well appointed for both short and longer term stays. Stunning views. Central to be Paarl winelands and a perfect place to base explorations of Stellenbosch and Franschhoek wine regions. Staff are exceptional. The family owners live and work on the estate and are welcoming to their guests.
Outstanding location. We had such a wonderful time. Our 15th month old son had the freedom to run around. He enjoyed the bird life and seeing the animals. The olive oil gift was a lovely gesture. Our son also received a small gift... which he loved. The cottage had everything needed for a self catering unit. Liesl was so helpful and friendly. We had the most wonderful time.

The Paarl golf course club house a 5 min walk for excellent and good value food and drinks
Everything about Perle du Cap is special! From the moment you drive in and are shown to your elegantly furnished room, you are made to feel welcome. The view from the balcony is magnificent and the little stream and waterfall at the bottom of the garden, so peaceful. A little slice of heaven on our whirlwind visit to Paarl.
Fabulous lodge, beautiful bungalow style rooms in a gorgeous garden that the owners have clearly worked hard on to attract wildlife and birds etc. Location easy to find just outside Paarl. Jolande the owner was so helpful and accommodating. Breakfast was lovely. Nothing was too much trouble!!
Friendly service - Minette made us feel very welcome. Beautiful, spotless room with lots of unexpected extras such as healthy rusks and milk in the fridge. Very sorry we didn't have time to enjoy a coffee on the stoep. Madeliefie will definitely be our preferred accommodation in Paarl.
The stay over was a real dream at the end of my vacation. A perfectly situated Wine estate in Paarl, close to Cape Town, with a fantastic landscape, within close vicinity of the Paarl Rocks. Complimented by South African skies at night. What more could you want?
Beautiful views over the vineyard from the stoep, pool access out the bathroom at the back - perfect for the hot Paarl summer. Very well appointed room. Close to all attractions. Staff exceptionally friendly and caring. Would stay there again in a heartbeat.
Friendliness of management and staff,
Clean facilities.
Accommodation of special request by management & staff
Ideal for self catering with everything needed available
Beautiful views and ideal location to explore the winelands
Kristien is an amazingly warm and gracious hostess. The accommodation is beautiful and the view from the balcony of the Paarl valley is breathtaking. Breakfast was delicious and the other guests made the stay really fun!
The hotel suites are perfectly situated with a wonderful deli available as an option to the clubhouse. The suite was very comfortable and spacious also offering great self catering facilities.
Lovely setting but a bit remote for visiting Paarl town (20 mins) and Franschoek. The team were lovely though and very responsive, they were especially helpful in allowing us a late check out.
Great secure little place in Paarl with all the amenities required. Friendly staff and host. Was a-great stay for our needs. Thank you for the welcoming present in the fridge.
We loved everything about this hotel! This was the most gorgeous estate we’ve ever stayed at. Staff was wonderful too! We were very sad to leave after four days.
