It would have been difficult to have been treated better and almost impossible to find a more relaxing location with breathtaking views. The hosts were perfect; available on the phone at any time and quick to respond to any messages. The accommodation was ideal for our needs and indeed we have taken away a good few ideas for a property we are renovating (thank you Meli). We stayed for four nights and wish it had been longer; the area is one of truly astounding natural beauty and is the perfect location to unwind and enjoy the peace and quiet. The village itself is very pretty and the locals equally welcoming and happy to chat. One can walk from the property to local restaurants which provide wholesome economical food and a warm welcome. We have lived in a very beautiful part of the Mediterranean Coast of Spain for over 20 years in one of the most scenic valleys imaginable, or at least we thought so until we came to sample the delights of this gorgeous village in the Cantabrian mountains with fields of freely roaming livestock all around and the backdrop of awe inspiring mountains with free flowing rivers and streams with pretty cascading falls all within pretty easy walking distance, albeit up and down hill. Parking was super simple in a private spot right beside the property, but not such that your car blocks the view. We visited the coast whilst we were there which is around 40 minutes by car through sensibly wide mountain roads (windy, but easy to drive) and also took a trip to Bilbao to see the Guggenheim (just over an hour), but it was lovely to pop to the local "supermarket" (corner shop) and buy some bits to enjoy a picnic.

Grillimisvõimaluse ja mäevaatega Camino de la Torre - Ruralsoba asub Quintana de Sobas, 60 km kaugusel Santanderist. Collados del Asóni looduspark asub 2,5 km kaugusel. Nice location with own parking and entrance. Very friendly and helpful owner.

LA CABAÑA pakub majutust Cillorigo de Liebanas, 31 km kaugusel Llanesist. Külaliste käsutuses on privaatne aed koos grillimisvahenditega. WiFi-ühendus on tasuta. It's a comfortable apartment - not huge, but cosy. Ojedo is small, but there's a nice place just down the hill - for a drink and/or something to eat. We had a nice time staying here for 4 days. The owner us right up the street - in case you need anything.

The rooms are pristine and what you could dream from a rural house.

Felix is one of the best host I have ever met. He just went the extra mile for everything. He is a very kind person and made us fill very welcome. We definetely recommend it!

Maalilise asukohaga võluvas maamajas on välibassein ja tasuta WiFi-ühendus. Hotell asub Secaduras, Kantaabria ranniku randadest 10-minutilise autosõidu kaugusel. The personal attention was truly something. We arrived late in the evening and hungry and the owner personally prepared an absolutely delicious dinner for us even though the restaurant was not in principle open. She was so kind. And breakfast was also fabulous.
