Clean studio with a great view over the ocean. Visited out of season and it was a bit cold so didn’t use the poolarea but it looked very nice. Great staff and good breakfast.

Fly to Santorini Airport (9km away) for international and domestic travel. From there, take a taxi or bus to Megalochori. Alternatively, ferry services are available from Athens (Piraeus port) to Santorini, then taxi or bus to Megalochori.
The most convenient airport for both domestic and international travellers is Santorini (Thira) International Airport, due to its proximity, roughly 7km from Megalochori. It offers numerous flight options and easy access to local transport.
Megalochori, Greece, is best navigated on foot or by bike due to its compact size. Public transport is limited, with no bus or train services. Car hire is available for longer journeys. Megalochori's village centre is the best area to stay, offering traditional Greek charm, local tavernas, and proximity to vineyards. It's also conveniently located for exploring the wider Santorini area.

We went out of season with few people on the island except the core of locals, most tourist businesses closed.
We chose it as it is small and we expected it to be quiet, and only one hour from Piraeus by ferry. Nearby Aegina is much larger and another option, but you would need your own transport (hire cars available).
in season i could imagine it being super busy and seeming crowded.

A lovely small place but perfectly formed with supermarkets, a bakery and restaurants of course. The locals are friendly and make you feel welcome..
A perfect place to chill out and unwind , if you are the restless type, a 20 minute walk takes you to
Skala along the coast which is quite lively.
E bikes and push bikes can take you further, there are stunning beaches all along the coast. The downside is that they are all pebble beaches.
A 15 min ferry ride takes you to Aegina the neighbouring island. Hotel Milos organises day trip tours to islands such as Hydra, Poros and Epidurus where you get the chance to swim/dive off the boat.
The Amaryllis is in a great location near the harbour and the old village with shops and restaurants and quaint streets. It has a nice sandy beach with crystal blue swimming, and with beds and umbrellas for guests. It is a family run hotel and all of the family were very nice to us and very welcoming. The restaurant and bar area are very good indeed and the food was excellent. The wifi was good too.
Very friendly host, Elena was great and always wanted to help. (Thanks to Nic for translations). Great location next to the port (make sure you get off at the right one). Can go swimming within a few steps. Beautiful views.
If you want to relax in the sun, this is the place. Book with Go Kayak Greece (along the beach in Skala) for a great trip.
Thanks Elena!
Nice room, mini kitchen well stocked, larger shower than other hotels. Sitting area on room balcony and sitting area in front of hotel overlooking the ocean. 5 minute walk to ferry terminal in Megalochori. The other terminal in Skala is 2km away. Walk way along the ocean to Skala. Also a bus. Maria, works at C View and is very helpful.
location is great, it's on the edge of smaller town Megalochori, so it's pretty quiet and sea view is not blocked by other buildings. on the other hand, larger town Skala is in 15 mins walk along the sea, also local bus stop is nearby. room is very clean and cozy, hostess is very friendly and helpful in any way.
Very friendly host that even picked us up at the port. She did everything she could to make our stay as pleasant as possible.
The apartment is very spacious, features a terrace and is in general really nice to stay at. Due to its location it's very easy to walk to Skala where most of the restaurants/bars are.
The hotel deserves 10 star!
Very attentive, kind owners and their lovely staff made my stay a breeze! Absolutely loved it!
Beautiful location, peaceful surroundings, comfy beds (plus warm blankets if needed), spacious rooms, what not to love?
Highly recommended!
Looking forward to staying here again!
This is a beautiful apartment right at the shore line! Agistri is very quiet in the winter, but the water and the forest trails are very beautiful and it is a nice change from busy Athens. Our host was very friendly and helpful! We would love to stay here again the next time we are in Greece!
Breakfast not included in the price. We ate all our meals at the hotel because food was good and it was convenient. Hotel had lovely outlook over the harbour and the small beach over the road. Nice swimming spot but pebbly and not really a sand beach. Staff were friendly and helpful.
An excellent family hotel. Very friendly and attentive. Elizabeth, Tania and the Captain were so nice and helpful. It felt like staying with friends. Breakfast was very nice and satisfying. The Greek breakfast was very tasty. The view was tuning. Music in the evenings.
I liked two things mostly - the kindness of the staff and the location of the hotel, right in the centre of Megalochori. The view from my balcony was unbeatable. Beverly and her family are extremely helpful and friendly people. Thanks a lot for a great stay.
The room, the view from the room (a real "sea view"), the staff. The hotel located very close to the port of Skala and there are some very nice beaches in a walking distance. There are many options to eat as well in the area.
The hotel was literally just a couple of minutes away from the port of Skala which is amazing.
The view from the balcony was great and I was glad the room also had a kitchen where you could cook.
Easy access, very clean, plus it's one of the very hotels that has parking.
The people and especially the owner were very friendly and supportive
Would definitely recommend Athena's Studios
The hotel was super clean, close to both centres of Agkistri. The hostess was very helpful and kind, she didn’t even charge us for our late check out. We definitely recommend it!
Great location. You can spot an amazing view point of the sunrise just from you balconies. Not something luxurious however is just perfect for an islanding greek vacation
Everything was excellent. It was a bit pricey overall, but certainly worth it. one of the best rooms we have stayed in. I really have nothing bad to remark.
