Host was perfect and very helpfull. Indoor playroom for kids and a small fitness for adults. Very good breakfast.

Clean and spacious rooms, well equipped. Lovely atmosphere of historic monastery. Very friendly and welcoming host. Breakfast was tasty with variety of food. I would definetly stay here again.

The rooms are very nicely prepared - we had a two-story room with a spacious bathroom incl whirlpool. Eating at the Roanwirt is also really nice (typical Austrian cuisine). The sauna area is not the biggest, but it was never crowded. The staff are tremendously forthcoming and friendly. In the area, you can hike up to Pogusch and have amazing views of the mountains.

Etmissl was a lovely small village to stay in. The people there were all very friendly. We got lucky and stumbled upon a Maypole celebration that was incredible to watch. The meals in the restaurant were spectacular (e.g. wild garlic ravioli with morel mushrooms in a cream sauce or the lake trout on a bed of stinging nettle risotto). We ate there twice in two days. And one of the owners made a point of coming over to us during the Maypole celebration to explain what the tradition was all about for them.

Staff knew English which is an exception in Austria, both dinner and breakfast were very delicious. We really enjoyed our stay. Highly recommended.

We had a really calm night here. We could eat a delicious dinner /lot of different tasty foods are available/. Breakfast was perfect too, with freshly made scrambled or boiled eggs. And we could eat already before 7 o'clock. Everyone was really nice and helpful. Room was enough big, clean and comfortable, silent. We enjoyed our stay here, only 20 min from Stuhleck skiarea.

Amazing place. Fully recommended. We had a problem with our booking. We didn't notice the bed count. And the amazing owners gave us extra room without extra cost. Unbelievable! Big and comfortable rooms. Delicious breakfast. Do not miss it!
