Every morning a beautiful view from the balcony, and the silence of the mountains met us. The cable car Hinterstoder - Wurzeralm Bergbahnen is no more than a 10-15 minute drive from the village house. The ActivCard we received from the hotel owners allowed us to use the cable car every day for free. Not far from Hinterstoder is Lake Almsee (1 hour driving) with a beautiful mountain view around. You can walk around the lake in the forest on a sunny day, as we did, or rise above the lake and admire it from above. The concert of the owners of the house, arranged for the guests of the house, made the stay there simply unforgettable. We felt at home in the Sonnfeld Hotel. It was very sad to leave this place. The hotel is located in a beautiful valley: you can enjoy Mountain View from the balcony. The creek flows just a couple of meters near the house. Rooms are nice, cozy and clean. There is always some fresh hot bread for breakfast. Cable lift is in a walking distance, so are trails. There are detailed maps with all routes at the reception desk. Well equipped, cozy, clean and new apartments with a beautiful view from the window. The ski lifts are in 2 min driving distance. The staff is very nice and the sauna is just perfect. The check in and check out was smooth.

Set on a hill above the scenic village of Vorderstoder, the Landhotel Stockerwirt enjoys a quiet location amid the Kalkalpen National Park. It offers a spa and a breakfast buffet. Cozy cottage with lots of space and 2 bathrooms. Good choice for group of friends or 2-3 families. It was our second time we went there. Good destination for skiing. (Hinterstoder or wuzerarm)
