The owners were the absolute best. They went above and beyond to make sure our large group was taken care of. They even mailed us some ski clothing we had left behind. The rooms were comfortable and I really appreciated their efforts to help us disconnect and enjoy the space. The location was stunning! We went in January and the hills were beautiful but I could see how it would equally gorgeous in the summer months.

This is a wonderful place to stay. Everyone was very friendly and accommodating. We chose a suite and were surprised by the size of it. It had a coffee maker and a small fridge which were perfect for our stay. The bed was very comfortable and the walk-in shower was great. There was a tub but we didn't use it during our stay. There was a nice porch out front where we sat to enjoy the spring sunshine. Breakfast was a feast with items and coffee made to order as well as a large layout of food to chose from in the buffet. We ate dinner in the evening and everything was fresh and made to order. It was so good we were even tempted by dessert. We enjoyed being in a family run establishment which made us feel like welcome guests.

The staff is very friendly, makes you feel very welcome, and you can always count on them. The location is beautiful, and the Gartenlofts are very unique. The whole place has a very calming atmosphere, the other visitors seemed very nice too. I would 100% recommend this place to everyone.

Located halfway between Vienna and Graz, Sporthotel am Semmering offers direct access to the ski slopes and hiking trails of the Semmering. The dinner was awesome. Totally worth the extra charge!

Perfect room and excellent restaurant with local cuisine. Not big - huge meal. Mixed grill meat with salad and local beer. The breakfast was also good - eggs, ham, cheese and nuts and coffee I was ready to drive the whole day.
