Breakfast was plentiful - we had more than normal portions because of how good everything was! I slept really well - it was very quiet in the room and pitch dark. Comfy beds. Would come back!

In the centre of Herisau and a 6-minute train ride from Sankt Gallen, the 3-star superior Hotel Herisau was completely renovated in 2016 and provides a sauna, a fitness centre and a restaurant serving... The hotel, room and staff was really nice. We had a great dinner at the restaurant and the breakfast was also very good. While the city is a bit dead, it brings you in range of some magnificent mountains. It was a perfect "pit-stop" for our trip through europe.
