Set on the beach in Costa Rica’s Tortuguero National Park, El Icaco Tortuguero offer Caribbean Sea views from the common areas. You can observe the protected Green Turtle laying its eggs nearby. This is a great hotel in a great location--right next to the beach! Of course, you can't swim in the ocean around Tortuguero, but it was still fabulous to have the ocean right there! You can just step outside in the morning and go for a walk. The hotel is next to a tree where the Great Green Macaws flock and hang out. The hotel is also really quiet at night. The staff are also wonderful--friendly, kind, and helpful. The rooms are comfortable and very clean. The fan works perfectly. I never felt too hot. Showers had hot water. Breakfast was great! For budget travelers, this is a terrific hotel.

La Casona Eco-Lodge Tortuguero features an outdoor swimming pool, garden, a terrace and bar in Tortuguero. The property is non-smoking and is located a few steps from Tortuguero Beach. Initially I was nervous about booking this location because of where is was on Google maps as it looked to be off the main path. The hotel is right besides the Soccer field, and this turned out to be great. We bought a soccer ball from the local hardware store, and my children ended up playing soccer nightly with the local kids. It was a really great experience for all of us. The hotel is clean, very secure at night, and extremely conveniently located for brining your luggage to and from the dock.

Super lovely small casa to stay over. The room was spacious, the beds comfy, a lovely terrace, a tap in the garden to clean your walking shoes if necessary. Delicous breakfast, nice small swimming pool to refresh after a hot day. And the most outstanding characteristic: the super friendly staff. They helped to organize all our trips and our transport to Puerto Viejo. Gerard eg is amazing.

Set in Tortuguero, Limon region, Hotel Serendipity is situated a few steps from Tortuguero Beach. With a garden, the 4-star hotel has air-conditioned rooms with free WiFi, each with a private... Staff very friendly and helpful! All tours easily booked with them from local associates. They borrowed us binoculars and flashlights for the tours. Great location near the national park entry not directly on the main road.

Offering a year-round outdoor pool, Los Amigos Jungle Hotel is situated in Tortuguero in the Limon Region, Located 50 mtrs behind Liceo barra de Tortuguero. The staff was super friendly and helpful. We loved playing with their dog when it was around! Our mattress was comfortable and getting clean towels every day was really convenient given that things take a long time to dry in the humid weather.

Cabinas Balcon del Mar Tortuguero is just 100 metres from hiking and fishing at Tortuguero National Park. Free WiFi access is available. The beach is just steps away. Great location. Very close to the beach and national park. Short walk to town. Hammocks to rest in outside. Quiet at night. I could hear the sound of the waves. Ask for a map of the town because at first it’s a little confusing. I think mostly locals stay here. No AC but it wasn’t needed. My room had 3 beds and a fan for each bed. The proprietor used an app to translate his Spanish into English for me. I was very pleased with this place.

Facing the beachfront, El Deseo Serendipity Tortuguero offers 4-star accommodation in Tortuguero and features a garden, terrace and bar. The staff was very friendly and helpful with organising all the tours and anything for us. Breakfast was generous. It was nice to be so near the beach to chill.
