Set on the beach in Costa Rica’s Tortuguero National Park, El Icaco Tortuguero offer Caribbean Sea views from the common areas. You can observe the protected Green Turtle laying its eggs nearby. This is a great hotel in a great location--right next to the beach! Of course, you can't swim in the ocean around Tortuguero, but it was still fabulous to have the ocean right there! You can just step outside in the morning and go for a walk. The hotel is next to a tree where the Great Green Macaws flock and hang out. The hotel is also really quiet at night. The staff are also wonderful--friendly, kind, and helpful. The rooms are comfortable and very clean. The fan works perfectly. I never felt too hot. Showers had hot water. Breakfast was great! For budget travelers, this is a terrific hotel.

Super clean room and very well located just a couple of minutes walk from Tortuguero main square. The staff was suoer friend and the check in process easy and quick.

The room was spacious, the beds comfy, a lovely terrace, a tap in the garden to clean your walking shoes if necessary. Delicous breakfast, nice small swimming pool to refresh after a hot day. And the most outstanding characteristic: the super friendly staff. They helped to organize all our trips and our transport to Puerto Viejo. Gerard eg is amazing.

Green Macaw Hostel is located in Tortuguero. The property is set 400 metres from Tortuguero National Park. At the economy hotel, the rooms include a patio and a shared kitchen. Lovely owners, very helpful! Close to the beach and quiet! Would love to come back!

Offering a year-round outdoor pool, Los Amigos Jungle Hotel is situated in Tortuguero in the Limon Region, Located 50 mtrs behind Liceo barra de Tortuguero. The staff was super friendly and helpful. We loved playing with their dog when it was around! Our mattress was comfortable and getting clean towels every day was really convenient given that things take a long time to dry in the humid weather.

Cabinas Balcon del Mar Tortuguero is just 100 metres from hiking and fishing at Tortuguero National Park. Free WiFi access is available. The beach is just steps away. It’s a lovely, quaint, rustic little hotel right next to the beach. The staff are very friendly and helpful. Lovely communal kitchen area, hammocks and outdoor space.
