It was the third time we stayed in the Burghotel Scharfenstein. We love the location - it's so quiet and close to a forest, so you can go for a nice walk. Rooms are cosy and very comfortable. And the food is great - both in the restaurant and the breakfast.

This hotel lies in the spa resort of Heilbad Heiligenstadt. It offers large rooms and suites, a spa, and free use of the Vitalpark water park with several swimming pools. The room was spacious and clean. The hotel offers a good breakfast with a variety of food to choose from. The pool and sauna area is included in the booking, and provides for a very relaxing break. There is an EV charger available at the hotel parking.

Situated in Heilbad Heiligenstadt, 39 km from University of Göttingen, Hotel Schwarzer Adler features accommodation with a terrace, private parking, a restaurant and a bar. We did stay in this hotel for one night during traveling to Poland. Staff was very friendly and helpfull . We did have double family room which one was very comfy and clean. Next day morning we did have continental breakfest. All staff was very friendly and proffessional. I can recommend this hotel for ppl which one like feel like in home. Car park is 2 minutes walk from the hotel. Definetly we will be back to this hotel

Lovely small family-run hotel, in a quiet location. Just off the highway. The children loved the petting zoo! Super nice owners. Highly recommend.
