I chose it because I was familiar with the area. The facility was new, very clean und the breakfast plentiful. Extremely pleasant and service-minded staff. Large hotel with several facilities. We used the bar; restaurant (we arrived just as the kitchen was closing and still received great service by the manager and cook who came away from his work station to entertain the kids); swimming pools (luxuriously peaceful as most people were trekking I imagine); and convenient parking (possible to unload outside the main entrance). Important to have the right expectations: the hotel is not new so there are some signs of an older generation construction, but rooms are very spacious and beds are fantastic and firm. Views from the restaurant and hotel rooms are stunning.
