It offers a sauna. it had an amazing view of the lake and was really clean, and it even had a sauna! unfortunately, we couldn't get to try their restaurant but it seemed to be bustling and really popular! will definitely give it a try next time!

I chose it because I was familiar with the area. The facility was new, very clean und the breakfast plentiful. Check in was easy, access with codes for main- and room door was simple with no problems.All in all a great place to stay when traveling, especially with the train.

Centrally located in the village of Altstädten, Hotel Gasthof Schäffler offers a restaurant, beer garden, and free WiFi. The surrounding Bavarian countryside is ideal for hiking and cycling. Fantastic staff! Incredibly helpful and responsive. They even prepared breakfast an hour earlier than usual for me, since I had an early train. The restaurant was fantastic, especially the homemade vegan burger. The bed was incredibly comfortable. The location, while a bit rural, was beyond beautiful (as is the Allgäu in general).

Located directly at the Marienplatz Square in Immenstadt, Hotel Drei König offers quiet and comfortable accommodation 3 km from the Großer Alpsee Lake. Great location right on Marienplatz. They have a very good restaurant and nice continental breakfast, but there are plenty of other options that are easily walkable. We loved the staff’s warm family vibe.

Offering a spa with large indoor pool, modern rooms with a balcony, and 3 restaurants, this hotel lies in Sonthofen in the Bavarian Alps. Austria is a 15-minute drive away. Extremely pleasant and service-minded staff. Large hotel with several facilities. We used the bar; restaurant (we arrived just as the kitchen was closing and still received great service by the manager and cook who came away from his work station to entertain the kids); swimming pools (luxuriously peaceful as most people were trekking I imagine); and convenient parking (possible to unload outside the main entrance). Important to have the right expectations: the hotel is not new so there are some signs of an older generation construction, but rooms are very spacious and beds are fantastic and firm. Views from the restaurant and hotel rooms are stunning.
