Quiet location in the country but not far from shopping. Hamburg’s metropolis only an hour away; historic Lübeck about the same. German-style breakfast buffet with some North-German touches (e.g. herring). I was able to order scrambled eggs each morning. Attached restaurant for meals & events. Very useful for hosting family gatherings, as hotel & restaurant are connected. Separate heating in bath & room makes for comfortable showering.

The owner couple are all very friendly and kind. Everything was very well take care of. Highly recommend this hotel for others.

This lakeside, 4-star hotel lies on a narrow piece of land between the Kuechensee and Ratzeburg lakes, in the heart of the Lauenburg Lake District, 15 km from Lübeck/Blankensee Airport. The location was amazing, the views over the lake quite beautiful. Rooms were light and spacious. Lastly the staff were lovely and even put out bowls and a bed for our dog.

Deserves more than 10 for the service they give! The couple who run this hotel are wonderful & so hard working. Fantastic personal service. The views of the Lake are stunning - peaceful location. Breakfast was perfect - everyone individually catered to. Molln is a gorgeous little walkable town with lots to see & there are lake cruises. It was just a wonderful stay !

Even though the property is quite big it instills the feeling of remote tranquility. The room was spacious, quiet, and had great views. Parking was convenient. Staff was friendly, helpful and always went the extra mile. Food in the adjacent restaurant was exceptional.
