We had a great time, beautiful and luxury hotel. The staff is AMAZING, specially “Nagha” a lady whose take care us at the swimming pool bar. She is so much extra care in the details of our lunch. Highly recommend to stay here.

Hotell Steigenberger ligger i hjärtat av Luxor och erbjuder modernt boende med fantastisk utsikt över Nilen. De rymliga rummen har luftkonditionering och satellit-tv. Vissa av rummen har även balkong.... Västerlänningar som stressar med att få ihop sin vardag och sitt arbetsliv, och som sedan bara har några få veckors semester varje år som de vill tillbringa genom att koppla av utomlands, så är det ingen hemlighet att Egypten kan vara ett ganska påfrestande land att finna avkoppling i, just på grund av människor som jagar en på torg och gator för att sälja dig nånting. De tar oftast inte heller ett nej som ett svar. Det är inget fel med det i sig. Faktum är att detta kan vara en fantastisk och rolig upplevelse för de som gillar prutar-kulturer samt ser det som en sport att navigera igenom. Men för vissa västerlänningar vars huvudsyfte är att stressa ner på sin semester, så kan denna "kulturkrock" ge motsatt effekt. Steigenberger Nile Palace är det perfekta hotellet för en paus från denna hektiska miljön nämnd ovan. Det är en stor yta att visats fritt kring och självfallet är ingen här påträngande eller har avsikt att störa eller jaga dig runt området bara för att försöka sälja på dig nånting. All personal är väldigt trevliga och har ett fantastiskt bemötande. Du känner dig välkommen och gott omhändertagen oavsett tid på dygnet.

Nile Roof Hotel& Restaurant ligger i Luxor, 3,1 km från Colossi of Memnon och 4,1 km från Medinet Habu Temple. Här erbjuds boende med en trädgård, terrass, en restaurang och gratis WiFi. The outside might look a bit shabby but the rooms are beautiful and the owner/manager is a very nice and helpful person. The rooftop restaurant is very nice and offers a great view as well. They have fast and immediate room service.

The accommodation was exceptional! From the moment of greeting to the final farewell, everything was great. Gaba was a really good host, and helped with everything we needed. The rooms were cozy and comfortable, with good views of the surroundings. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful, and they made us feel truly welcome. He makes you feel as a part of the community and we made a good friend! If you encounter problems he is always there to help :) They make a fire in the garden every night and we could spend time with the host, the staff and other guests and share precious times together. The location was also perfect if you are looking for a quiet time to relax with easy access to the best sights in the west bank. Gaba helped us always and organized transportation to the east bank for us. He also organized the travel for us to Aswan and Abu Simbel. We can recommend this accommodation to anyone and will definitely be coming back! This was our first stay in Egypt and it was a welcoming and great experience! Thank you a lot Gaba!

Luxor Old Nile Hotel features a restaurant, bar, a garden and private beach area in Luxor. The accommodation offers a 24-hour front desk, airport transfers, room service, free WiFi and parking space. This was one of the best stays I have had with Booking.com. Mostafa, the owner of the hotel, provided us with the best hospitality. He made sure that we arrived safely, and always made sure everything was going well with the stay. He provided some great welcome lemon juice and teas. He organized us wonderful food (the best was the soup and the cheese!), and all of it was prepared by his wonderful family. At the hotel, there is also an incredible view of the Old Nile River, and if you are lucky you can even see some alligators. He also recommended great itineraries for us during our stays here. When we come back to Luxor, we will be sure to stay with him again. Highly recommend for all friends, family members and strangers.

Jewel of the Valley Howard Carter Guest House "Howard Carter Guest House" erbjuder lyxigt boende i Luxor. Här erbjuds gratis Wi-Fi i allmänna utrymmen. Luxortemplet ligger 2,2 km bort. Ambiance, the people and culture. Mr Said and his colleagues were kind, helpful and amazing. They made my stay excellent and homely. I will def go back.

Nour El Balad ligger i Luxor, alldeles intill Madinet Habou-templet. Wi-Fi finns tillgängligt. Här erbjuds lerhus med mysiga och traditionella rum i en palmlund. It was a pleasure staying at Nour El Balad. It’s beautifully decorated and feels very authentic. It’s quiet and peaceful, the staff were friendly and the food was amazing. We had both breakfast and dinner which I highly recommend. The surrounding area is beautiful and the locals are very nice. Highly recommended for when you’re visiting the sights on the West Bank.

Surrounded by landscaped gardens, Al Baeirat Hotel is located on the banks of the Nile. Featuring a swimming pool, a shopping arcade and a 24-hour front desk that offers ironing services. Al Baeirat Hotel is indeed a little Oasis in Egypt.... At Luxor's West Bank, directly on the shores of river Nile, a small number of Nubian style huts with a private little garden attached offer privacy and a sense of ownership. Staff are very helpful and friendly and even though committed 24/7, they all provide a very relaxed and welcoming atmosphere. Free transfer by boat between the hotel and downtown Luxor is available around the clock upon call. The little restaurant offers a variety of tasty homemade food — a great breakfast, snacks for lunch and a diverse selection of dishes for dinner. All meals combine elements of the Egyptian and Western cuisine. Drinks (water, soft drinks, beer and a small selection of Egyptian wines) are also available, a specialty is the Turkish style coffee. The hotel offers a small pool perfectly suitable for a quick refreshment. Upon request, bicycles are available for rent, and the famous sights of the area (valley of the kings, valley of the queens, Hatshepsut temple - each approximately 8 km away one way) can be explored easily by bicycle! I lived for four years in Egypt, but this hotel was by far the nicest I ever had!

Al Moudira Hotel ligger vid porten till Luxor och är det enda palatset på Nilens västra sida. Hotellet är inrett i orientalisk stil med arabeskprydda kupoler och innergårdar. One of the best hotels we have stayed at. Nothing was a problem, rooms are huge, facilities and gardens excellent.
