Situated in the heart of Lagunas de Ruidera Nature Reserve, in the small town of Ruidera, Hostal La Noria offers rooms with air conditioning, heating, and free WiFi. It was a very nice experience. The host was very hospitable and willing to help. Hostal is near to the lakes in the walking distance. I recommend this place.

Albamanjon is set on a hillside, by the banks of San Pedro Lake. This stylish hotel features a restaurant and rooms with balconies, lake views and hydromassage baths. Stunning location, lovely staff, everything was overflowing with natural, classic, tasteful decor and outdoor areas. Mar was so lovely and I can’t wait to return

Boasting a garden, bar and free WiFi, El Molino is located in Lagunas de Ruidera Natural Park. Guests can enjoy mountain views. The rooms in the hotel are equipped with a TV. Wonderful place from which to explore the lakes and surrounding area. Friendly and helpful staff plus nice terrace and good breakfast. No frills but excellent value considering the location.

The young man who greeted us did not speak English, but he was very kind and helpful. The male owner greeted us after we checked in and was very nice. The room was not expensive and was clean.

The host went out of his way to ensure everything was perfect.He arranged to let us into the property earlier than the advertised time,we were greeted with a glass of bubbly and he booked us into a local restaurant for dinner.As the season is over mid Sept. many of the restaurants are closed in the area but the big advantage is the lack of people.The property is full of charm retaining its character on the outside but completely modernised, immaculate and comfortable inside.We were not expecting it to be so well equipped and the little box of goodies and wine were greatly appreciated. The garden is like a fairytale,with comfortable outdoor seating areas to relax and eat al fresco,especially after dark when it is magically lit.The owners have amazing imagination to have created such a fabulous environment.We really didn’t want to leave!

Apartamentos Los Panchos is located within the natural setting of Lagunas de Ruidera, 400 metres from the first lagoon. It offers a communal terrace with outdoor swimming pool and barbecue. Great location, huge size of the room

Casas Rurales el Palomar is located in the Castilian countryside just outside Ossa de Montiel. It offers a seasonal outdoor pool and a terrace with great views of the countryside. The house was more than we expected. As we took our smal dog she was able to wander free. It was only a short drive into nearest town with normal bank, shopping and bar/restaurant facilities, and near to the stunning lakes. Beautiful surroundings with benefit of a terrace to enjoy a wine and a log fire as evening a little chilly. Would recommend and are planning to return in the future. 5* and staff on hand if needed.

Offering a country house and wooden bungalows, Casas de Madera Los Molinos is located in Las Lagunas de Ruidera Nature Reserve, 5 minutes' drive from Ossa de Montiel. Nice people, wonderfull place to stay
